    Them having a hard conversation about what they mean to each other, a bit stilted with each other still, GQ just opening up and Croc still keeping him at some distance...It makes so much sense for them. GQ is all in, once he's over what Croc actually is, once he switches from 'military is my soulmate' to 'Oooooh, you are'. There is more important stuff then Croc being a little weird, and GQ is totally on board with it (and again with the characterization: For a soldier, a shitload of 'normal' things are secondary). But Croc has always been a monster to people and he expects more of that, can't quite believe that GQ is serious about this ... The whole situation, the way they react to being soulmates, is just so freaking perfect.<3 <3 <3

    And then closes his hand around GQ's wrist and says, "I watch my own back." Such a beautiful moment...

    Guess they're just going to have to pencil in plenty of practice. Ahahahahahaha, you guys do that! It's such a great first kiss, the right mixture between intense and a little bit weird and light-hearted. <3 <3 <3
