The Poseidon Adventure (2005)

"The Poseidon Adventure" (Twentieth Century Fox, 1972) an American action-adventure disaster film with an ensemble cast which included Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine, Stella Stevens, Shelley Winters, Jack Albertson, Red Buttons, and Roddy McDowell. Parts of the film were shot aboard the RMS Queen Mary, whose encounter with a rogue wave (tsunami) in 1942 inspired the book of the same name, penned by Paul Gallico, upon which the movie is based.
