Hand made individual ceramic wildlife bird and animal sculptures. My work is suitable for indoor and Garden display as it is high fired. Based in County Durham in the UK but can ship Worldwide.

I’ve been making ceramic chickens for several months now, each one a delight to create. Here’s how I turn a pinch pot into a chicken.

This wall installation comes with three hand-built ceramic birds made from high-fire stoneware clay, finished using stains and underglazes, and kiln fired multiple times. Each bird has a sharp, permanently attached steel wire on the back that allows it to push directly into, and extend away from, the wall creating a shadow and three-dimensional effect. These wall installations are ideal for unusual shaped spaces, large walls, or rooms with vaulted ceilings. Each bird is uniquely textured…
