Well, at least he wasn't kicked out; they seemed indifferent as to whether he stayed or not. New girls are cute, if likely knockoffs.

MC left his party because he was being treated unfairly and ripped off on compensation ... as these stories go, that's new ... I'm glad this will be a story where MC understands his worth and acts accordingly. ⚖️

Watched Episode 1:

I think I read this one before, though I don't remember much. The reason I know I read this is the whole thing about streaming dungeon runs and boss fights. Which I have to say, kinda of weird how they glossed over it and didn't do much to explain it. Probably will be explained later. Though the fact that I barely remember anything about the story doesn't bode well.

If this was ecchi or outright hentai even, it would be greatest anime of all time .

Girls seem refreshhingly innocent, yet not completely dumb, and MC doesn't seem to be that dense either ... so far. Great harem group composition by the way. Unfortunately it will end up being just some cozy campfire to look at...

Seriously. This guy is going to instruct and guide his teenage former students.. in the dungeon.

And he tells them not to call him Sensei. Maybe his name should be Cuke..

Ep1 seemed generic. Of all the fantasy/isekai shows this season this is one of the weaker entries imo. I'm a sucker for fantasy and cute girls though so i'm definitely watching.

Comfy is fine but this would be better with ecchi.

This show is obviously just going from trope to trope checking off boxes.. on the bright side, they subtly managed to work in that they're all legal in Japan..

meh
they have a creepy stalker, sensei is on the verge of being invited to live with his students, and they refuse to retreat in order to take on a monster that should obviously have killed them in the first swipe. And it's still only ep2.

Oh, and his old party immediately collapses without him. And of course, he won't get any because he's pure, brave and stupid.

In Japan, you have to be 20 to smoke or drink... but getting busy is entirely different..

2nd ep was a bit weaker on account of the tropes being played much too straight and predictably. I preferred simply watching the party doing quests and stuff with little bits of wisdom. That coulda been the entire premise without the A-Rank idiots at all, just be about an instructor for rookie adventurers.

But whatever, so long as he actually does showcase the girls a bit more like he said he would, this could be pretty decent. If ep3 starts off with him hogging all the glory, I think I'll just drop it on the spot. Say discount Roxy may as well quit the party, then same for me. But maybe ep2 ended that way for a good reason, and it's not total trash, who knows!

I don't mean to be a jerk, but does this really have 24 episodes?

A horny fat rich looking man right from ep2? It just feel so boring wasting time to start with this trope so soon...

And when it comes back to story, seems like the mc does all the works again..... 🙄😑

Ep3 we get some nice, if brief, fanservice of the dark elf and red head fully nude bathing in the river!

And of course the loli mage is fully covered from head to toe despite her being the oldest one (20 years old) Why is modern anime like this?

The fact we got even this brief amount of fanservice in a non-ecchi title is still something though considering ecchi and fanservice are all but dead. Beggars can't be choosers.

Is he basically the Idolmaster Manager In Another World With the Supposed Weakest Class, Red Mage, But I Won't Stand For This Abuse From My Main Party Anymore, I'll Produce These Girls Who Like Me, Instead!

Anyway, it's just whatever. Very surface level, no actual backbone, not much explanation or lore for their world, we just really get everything as is and he starts... well doing the equivalent of "smurfing". Because that's exactly what he's doing right now.

There really isn't much to this. Nothing interesting nor anything obscenely bad. Which makes it about at the level of the norm for this season, which is all around mostly kind of shit.

This is the anime equivalent of fast food: cheap, bland, highly-optimized slop for the normies.

I am not entirely sure, but I don't remember them ever dropping ages. But given they are "post adventurers high school" (whatehever that means in this world) AND licensed adventurers already, and fully formed party by now, I am pretty sure they are at least 18, all of them, ie full (albeit young) adults (in most of the world besides lol-muhrrica at least). But hey, it they are really less than 18 teenagers, I am really sorry for my comment, but for unless proven otherwise, in my headcannon they are past age of consent.

And the loli witch seems just to be petite petanko woman, not an actual child, so I am seifu.

Given how "strong" against their chams he seems to be, he might actualy turn out to be Cucke instead .

<sarcasm>Oh shut up, you and I, we both know, they were just lucky, get out of here and don't spoil my mindless fun .</sarcasm>

Well, it is strongly implied, since ep1, that he, indeed, was an unseen lichpin of that party, and he at least has some reactions to them flirting with him and caressing him, so he is not completely neutron star dense protag. I would say is more of a theacer thing, some others are discussing.

They always are the linchpin of their party. That is a very common trope. The "underappreciated at work goes to find greener pastures elsewhere" thing. Which now that I think about it, is probably exactly what they are going for. Appealing to all of the people that feel like they are underappreciated for what they do at work.

Indeed, you are right, I vaguely remembered now that witch and the elf dropped ages, and it is now filled even in their character sheets here. So the witch is just petite pettanko a.k.a. becca-loli, and the elf is more near jailbait territory, still, above-16, which is okay in most of the world, if I rember correctly. It certainly it is okay here in the most of europe. I really hope the redhead is at least 19.

Fanservice is still kinda allright, I strongly believe they will never take away our anime shower scenes, beach episodes and some other silly stuff, but the fact thay felt need to "protecc" the loli, points at more disturbing trends these days, especially given payment processors drama and other lolcrap going on rn.

I myself am more tits & ass guy, and always have been since I ever remember, but I feel strongly with my mature loli-loving brothers in arms. Here the little bit-dumb-but-athletic-with-a-lot-of-growth-potenital readhead knight is my horse in this race, but the fact we are even discussing fanservice and lolis as the bad thing feels so wrong.

Japanese were always retardedly reserved with explicit kissng and fucking, but at least we got those bouncy gainax tits, striped panty shots and other neat stuff out of that. Now we get little more kissing (usually of homo yuri/yaoi variety), but fucking is completely tucked away somewhere off screen, if even (I rember one isekai trash where one hundreth of his women sartet popping children out of nowhere, literally from holding hand with MC or something, I guess). Actually I distinctively remember there used to be single preggo ara-ara mom in at least one anime almost every fucking anime season, that gave birth to child, and the ordeal was major plot device, and served for character development of the cast - I haven't seen that happen in ages, I swear.

Okay, thinking about it a bit again, I take that back, now I suddenly remembered some shit about goblin ogre, where he impregnated the whole harem too, and that aired quite recently, yeah but that was utter trash. What I am saying, is that we are not getting any wholesome and "realistic" preggos anymore. Not that I mind, I'm just saying it used to be pretty normal thing to show in anime where people came from. These days I guess they just isekai-in as young adults lying in the grass in the sun, through the Truck-kun.

I swear, I witnessed the whole world going bonkers in a single fucking generation. When I was little it was customary, and cultural thing, at least here, that little children were running around completely naked at the pools and nobody batted an eye. Hell I remember running with my peepee around the pool naked myself. These days, if you let your children roam the pool like that, people would brand you lunatic. Everybody my age, who has children, is hyper aware of the shit, and it's fucking up their heads badly, both parents and children.

All my acquintances, even most intelligent ones, who should know better, turned into uberfucking-annoying-helicopters. So much, that I am disgusted by them and their children presence. Nowadays a day or two long meets, are most that I can handle, it gets tiring and annoying really quickly. I need at least full day or two to recover. Or maybe I just became old fart by now .

Anyway, in my experience, the more offended and outraged these people are on the outside, the more sick-fucked-up and outright-disgusting creatures they are on the inside. Not talking about parents now, but the loli and fanservice haters.

Now I see what you were hinting at and what you meant. Yeah, so this series could be TLDRed: Universal Appeal Protag And His Harem Party Story ... got it.

Let's just agree it's cozy campfire (for now).

There's nothing incredibly wrong with that. Not every show needs to be philosophical, heart breaking, or a masterpiece. Escapism just seems to be what the doctor ordered lately. Turning my head off and just consuming it is fine, unless it's an especially egregious case.

I just wish they would put just a little more personality into these works. I feel that lately we are getting even more "template with a checklist" type anime than before. Some of the stories could even pass as AI generated (well, no, some of them are so bad that an AI would have actually written a better story). I prefer even a shitty, generic show with some personality, to a checklist slopfest with no defining features...

Sentai Red from this season is a good example. Some standard templates, has some of your isekai tropes, but then the author chose to walk out on a limb and start parodying and taking power ranger tropes to their most extreme conclusions. We need that kind of shit that just "throws its hands up, gives up, and breaks the mold", even a little, vs this bland shit that might as well be tofu boiled in distilled water.

That was just a general comment, though. This one is actually kind of okay as far as things go. The concept of livestreaming in a fantasy world is interesting. Although, if someone didn't almost die in one of the episodes from his old team, you might as well just say, "well, actually, this is just a VRMMO they're playing" and no one would really know much difference, would they?

I'm liking this so far. It could very well devolve into complete trash territory, but I feel it's narrowly avoided crossing that line. Constantly runs the risk of one idiotic plot point throwing it directly in the bin, but yeah, nothing "especially egregious" yet so I'm still on board.

It's comfy. Everyone in the party contributes. There could potentially be something later with the "someone [who] almost die[d]" which might actually be somewhat interesting, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Like the parts that aren't straight copy-pasted aren't too bad, it's just, how well will that carry through 24 episodes? It's only "not boring" as-is, which I guess is above average for the season, but if it doesn't get any better it'll be left in the dust in a couple months.
