Anime: Netrun-mon The Movie 1: Net no Sumi de Blog to Sakebu

YOU WILL STAND YOUR GROUND![br][br]This is without doubt the most epic 1/2 hour commercial of recorded history. It is eye catching, genuinely ( if introvertedly) entertaining and completely and utterly pointless.[br][br]It is genuinely gorgeous to look at. I would not be even remotely surprised if Poyoyon Rokku had a hand in this somewhere, because that certain art style is prolific throughout. Characters are clean, crisp , extremely enjoyable to follow, and downright loli-tastic. They were even considerate enough to let the male characters remain as background elements, so it doesn't distract from the oggling of UNDERAGE FEMININE UNDERGARMENTS. Backgrounds were largely forgettable, whilst the CG for the end boss was bordering on exciting.[br][br]Sound is superior,voice actor wise. The Exalted pantheon of Loli- Undivided show up in close to their modern entirety, with the perfect voices for those characters who have been mute for too long. Sound effects are entirely stock, as was the BGM, but hey, who cares.[br][br]The story was piffle. So stupendously generic that it bordered on insulting to the characters and actors portraying them. Although the start bordered on semi-original, it very quickly jumped into generic adventure type b, with (internet) pop culture references throughout.[br][br]Characters were not particularly developed, but then there are too many incarnations of them to justify pinning down one to cannon. So instead we get awesome individuals being used to portray a literary afterthought.[br][br]This cannot, should not and may it never be enjoyed in company. The rewatchiness is not there, because the static 2d is generally better and more varied. HOWEVER; This is a great big loli-chu for all those who pay obscene amounts of time worshiping at The Temple Of The Emperor Manifest as Loli-Undivided, pay the bills of the ISP that commissioned it, and this show of appreciation is without doubt the best customer service I have ever heard of.[br][br]And by The Throne do I personally appreciate it. This had me screaming the subtitle of this review at the television on three seperate occassions, and biting quite hard into a nearby paintbrush on two. I would expect there are are many who would do the same (from that certain demographic solely) to varying degrees.[br][br]But for any self respecting cultured otaku (lol) I would recommend you stay as far away from this as possible.
