Studio Zaendou was an animation production studio located in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan. It was established in 1982 by the former Toei Douga animator Mukainakano Yoshio, who also served as the representative director.
Aside from the main studio, the company also had another studio located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, which was established by Mukainakano in 1993 with the intention of drawing out talents in the Hokkaido region, which had only few comparatively moderate sized animation studios. The Sapporo studio was closed in August 2010.
Studio Zaendou acted mostly as an animation subcontractor for other studios and brought up several talents, such as Iso Mitsuo. In 2016 the studio was closed "due to various circumstances", and the staff members established a new studio called MK-Za.
