Nishimura Hiroshi was born January 1, 1945 in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. He is an animator and illustrator.
Nishimura graduated from high school in 1963 and joined Mushi Pro, profitting from being directly under Tezuka in the animation class. He quit five years later and became freelance. He became one of the core members of Tezuka Production in 1978. In 1986 he established his own independent company, Milky Way. In 1988 he was asked by NHK to produce something for their Minna no Uta show. In 2002 became freelance.
