Person: Yamazaki You

Yamazaki You was born on April 26, 1967 in Tokyo, Japan. He started playing piano at the age of five and started to study classical music. He entered the Seikei Junior High and subsequently High and University. During his junior high days he belonged to a string orchestra and played the contrabass there. In high school he entered a band, winning a contest as well as several prices for his keyboard play. He continued to study music and entered the Seikei University, during that time he halted his band activities and decided to become a composer. He sent demo tapes to several music studios and was finally contracted by Fujipacific Music. Afterwards he continued to compose and arrange music for different activities, particularly children's music.
