Cunhapê comes from a Spanish word “cuñapé” which refers to cheese bread but of Bolivian origin. Cunhapê is a whole crunchy cheese bread. The challenge for the project was to create an identity that was modern, timeless and at the same time cheerful and that showed refinement.

Takocan Takoyaki is a takeaway restaurant located in Malang, Indonesia. I got the opportunity designing the logo, characters, illustrations, and the packaging. This is a family business selling well-known Japanese food, the takoyaki, with adding the new taste sensations. So when originally takoyaki filled with octopus, Takocan Takoyaki has cheese, salmon, extra spicy, shrimp, and sausage to try.

The agency Everland and illustrator Egle Zvirblyte have opted to eschew the “ocean of sameness” found in plant-based meat packaging for this cheeky new identity.
