누 에리다니(Nu Eridani, ν Eri)는 에리다누스자리에 있는 별이다.육안으로는 3.93의 외관상 시야로 볼 수 있다.[2]이 별까지의 거리는 연간 시차 변화 0.00625 아크초 기준으로 약 520광년이다.[1]항성이 태양으로부터 33리(10pc) 떨어진 곳이라면 밤하늘에서 가장 밝은 별일 것이며 겉보기 크기는 -2.84이다.([3]현재 가장 밝은 별은 진도 -1.46의 시리우스다.)
이것은 B1.5 IV의 별 분류를 가진 B형 아거성 별이다.[3]베타 세페이 변수에 대해 겹치는 불안정 스트립과 서서히 맥동하는 B형 별에 대해 하듯이 누워 있는 하이브리드 펄스 변수다.[4]이 별은 최소 14개의 펄스 주파수를 보여주며, 9개는 방사형 속도 변화도 보여준다.[7]태양 질량의 약 9배, 태양의 반지름의 6배를 가지고 있다.누에리다니는 유효온도 22,000K로 외부 대기에서 태양 광도의 7,943배로 빛을 발한다.[3]
