메노기 크래드

M mnog-īkhrad ( (memenoːgiː xrad) 또는 지혜의 정령(Spirit of Swise)은 중세 페르시아어로 쓰여진 조로아스터교에서 가장 중요한 2차 문헌 중 하나이다.

Also transcribed in Pazend as Minuy-e X(e/a)rad and New Persian Minu-ye Xeræd, the text is a Zoroastrian Pahlavi book in sixty-three chapters (a preamble and sixty-two questions and answers), in which a symbolic character called Dānāg (lit., “knowing, wise”) poses questions to the personified Spirit of Wisdom, who is extolled in the preamble and id타고난 지혜(asn xrad)로 두 곳(2.95, 57.4)에 끼여들었다. 이 책은 대부분의 중세 페르시아 책과 마찬가지로 구전 전통에 바탕을 두고 있으며 알려진 작가가 없다. 서문에 따르면, 다낭은 진리를 탐구하면서 여러 나라를 여행하고, 많은 야만인들과 관계를 맺고, 다양한 의견과 신념을 배웠다. xrad(1.51)의 미덕을 발견하자 지혜의 정령이 나타나 그의 질문에 대답하였다.^[1]

이 책은 안다르즈("자문") 문학의 장르에 속하는데, 종교 문제에 대한 조언이 결코 부족하지는 않지만 적당히 술을 마실 때의 혜택과 그 안에서 지나치게 관용할 때의 폐해(20, 33, 39, 50, 51, 54, 55, 59, 60)에 대한 실용적인 지혜가 대부분 포함되어 있다. For example, there are passages on keeping quiet while eating (2.33-34); on not walking without wearing the sacred girdle (kostī) and undershirt (sodra; 2.35-36); on not walking with only one shoe on (2.37-38); on not urinating in a standing position (2.39-40); on gāhānbār and hamāg-dēn ceremonies (4.5); on libation (zōhr) and the yasna ceremony (yazišn; 5.13); on not burying the dead (6.9); on marriage with next of kin (xwedodah) and trusteeship (stūrīh; 36); on belief in dualism (42); on praying three times a day and repentance before the sun, the moon, and fire (53); on belief in Ohrmazd as the creator and in the destructiveness of Ahreman and belief in *stōš (the fourth morning after deatt), 부활, 그리고 최종 몸(tan ī pasnn; 63). 역시 가장 긴(110타) 1장에서는 죽은 뒤 사람에게 무슨 일이 생기는지, 영혼과 육체의 분리 등을 자세히 다룬다.^[1]

일부 학자들은 이 글이 처음에 파젠드어로 쓰여졌고, 후자에 파젠드 텍스트를 사용하여 중 페르시아어로 다시 쓰여졌다고 믿지만, 다른 학자들은 이 글이 원래 중 페르시아어로 쓰여졌고 후에 파젠드, 산스크리트어, 구자라티, 페르시아어로 쓰여졌다고 믿는다. 현존하는 가장 오래된 필사본은 영국 도서관에서 발견된 L19로 파젠드와 구자라티어로 쓰여져 있으며, 1520년으로 거슬러 올라간다. L19 텍스트의 특징 중 하나는 Xrad "wisdom"이라는 단어가 텍스트 전체에서 Xard로 철자되어 있다는 것이다. 이 글의 가장 오래된 판본은 덴마크 왕립도서관에서 발견된 K43이다.
