G시리즈는 1983년 나즈물 하케 브후이얀이 설립했다.2006년 G시리즈 자매결연으로 아그니베나 프로덕션이 설립되었다.G시리즈는 라빈드라나트 타고레의 유명한 시집 기탄잘리의 이름을 따서 지은 것이다.[1]2007년 G-Series는 해적판 때문에 소형 디스크 판매가 감소하고 있었다.[7]
