군집파리(예: 풀파리 또는 다락방파리)는 꽃가루과과에 속하는 꽃가루아과의 파리다.블루보틀 속 포미아처럼 더욱 친숙한 송풍파리와는 달리 인간의 음식에 알을 낳지 않기 때문에 인간의 건강에 전혀 해가 없다.그들은 지렁이에 기생한다. 암컷은 지렁이 굴 근처에 알을 낳고, 유충은 지렁이를 먹고 산다.그러나 이 집단의 생물학은 비교적 잘 알려져 있지 않고 애벌레와 벌들을 포함한 다른 숙주들로부터 몇몇이 기록되어 있다.[13]
집속파리는 추운 날씨에서 피난처를 찾아 다락방이나 실내에서 비슷한 지역으로 들어간다.그것들은 종종 따뜻한 날에 나타나며, 창문에 있는 클러스터들이 퇴장을 시도한다.[14]
대표적인 풀파리인 꽃가루아 루디스는 길이 약 7mm로 머리 뒤의 뚜렷한 선이나 줄무늬, 흉부에 있는 짧은 금빛 색깔의 털, 복부에 불규칙한 빛과 어두운 회색 부위로 알아볼 수 있다.군집 파리는 일반적으로 느리게 움직인다.
군집 파리는 널리 분포되어 있다.영국에서 8종, 유럽에서 31종이 발견된다.꽃가루 종은 호주와 뉴질랜드에서도 많다; 그들은 북아메리카에서 흔하다.P. 루디스는 인간과 연관되어 널리 퍼졌다.[15]
