초년기

아드후아는 1983년 3월 31일 루이지애나주 뉴올리언스에서 카라 해리슨과 클린턴 스콧 3세 사이에서 태어났다.[7]그는 쌍둥이 형제, 작가 겸 감독인 키엘 아드리안 스콧이 있다.12살 때부터 그는 삼촌인 재즈 알토 색소폰 연주자 도널드 해리슨 주니어의 지도를 받았다.[8]14세에 뉴올리언스 크리에이티브 아트 센터(NOCCA)에 합격하여 프로그램 감독 클라이드 커 주니어와 켄트 조던의 지도 아래 재즈를 공부하였다.[8]16세의 스콧은 해리슨 주니어가 삼촌 5중주단에 합류한 후 "Paradise Found"와 "Kind of New"를 통해 음반계에 소개되었다.[9]
