브라이언 패트릭 케네디(Brian Patrick Kennedy[1], 1961년 1월 3일 로드아일랜드 웨스터리 출생)는 미국의 정치인이자 2003년 1월부터 38구역을 대표하는 로드아일랜드 하원 민주당 의원이다.[2]케네디는 1989년 1월부터 2003년 1월까지 16번 구역에서 연임했다.그는 로드아일랜드 하원의장 프로 템포어(Pro Tempore)이기도 하다.

교육

케네디는 프로비던스 칼리지에서 역사사회학 학사, 안나 마리아 칼리지에서 MBA를 취득했다.

선거

  • 2012년 케네디는 2012년 9월 11일 민주당 경선에서 245표를 얻어 승리했으며,[3] 2010년 경선의 재대결에서 케네디는 2012년 11월 6일 실시된 총선에서 3,803표(69.9%)를 얻어 무소속 피터 본크 후보를 누르고 승리했다.[4]
  • 1988년 케네디는 처음에 1988년 9월 14일 선거구, 1988년 민주당 경선과 1988년 11월 8일 총선에서 승리했다.
  • 1990년 케네디는 1990년 9월 11일 민주당 경선에서 승리했고, 1990년 11월 6일 총선에서 공화당의 바톤 젠크스 후보를 상대로 2847표(69.6%)를 얻어 승리했다.[5]
  • 1992년 케네디는 1992년 9월 15일 민주당 경선에서 승리했으며, 1992년 11월 3일 총선에서 공화당 후보 더글러스 바버를 상대로 2885표(70.8%)를 얻어 승리했다.[6]
  • 1994년 케네디는 1994년 9월 13일 민주당 경선과 1994년 11월 8일 총선에서 모두 2,215표를 얻어 승리했다.[7]
  • 1996년 9월 10일 케네디는 202표를 얻어 민주당 경선에 반대하지 않았고,[8] 1996년 11월 5일 총선에 공화당 후보 매튜 울릭슨과 쿨 무스당 후보 하워드 셰퍼에게 2354표(59.0%)를 얻어 3파전에서 승리했다.[9]
  • 1998년 케네디는 1998년 9월 15일 민주당 경선에서 105표를[10] 얻어 1위를 차지했고, 1998년 11월 3일 공화당 후보 로버트 팅글을 상대로 1773표(62.9%)의 득표율로 승리했다.[11]
  • 2000년 케네디는 2000년 9월 12일 민주당 경선에서 266표를[12] 얻어 266표를 얻어 2000년 11월 7일 총선에서 공화당의 마조리 레코스키 후보를 상대로 2761표(68.2%)를 얻어 승리했다.[13]
  • 2002년 38구역으로 재역전되고, 현직 피터 팔럼보 의원이 16구역으로 재역전된 가운데 케네디는 2002년 9월 10일 민주당 예비경선에서 410표를[14] 얻어 2557표(63.9%)의 아만다 도셔 공화당 후보를 누르고 2002년 11월 5일 총선에서 승리했다.[15]
  • 2004년 케네디는 2004년 9월 14일 민주당 경선에서 221표를[16] 얻어 승리했으며, 2004년 11월 2일 공화당 후보 조지 애벗을 상대로 3,550표(61.9%)의 득표율로 승리했다.[17]
  • 2006년 케네디는 2006년 9월 12일 민주당 경선과 2006년 11월 7일 총선에서 모두 380표를 얻어 3,319표를 얻어 승리했다.[18][19]
  • 2008년 케네디는 2008년 9월 9일 민주당 경선에 반대하지 않고 112표로 승리했으며, 2008년 11월 4일 총선거에서 낸시 리치먼드 공화당 후보를 상대로 4214표(67.0%)를 얻어 승리했다.[20][21]
  • 2010년 9월 23일 케네디는 223표를 얻어 223표를 얻어 민주당 경선에 반대하지 않았고, 2010년 11월 2일 공화당 후보 피터 본크를 상대로 2617표(56.1%)의 득표율로 당선되었다.[22][23]
