I'm also on 8.3.8 - but I wonder if it'll be compatible with XenForo 2.3...
The MP4 files preview is bugged when you upload one since release of the support of this file extension.
For example the "Background Image" preview, if you upload an MP4 is bugged, it becomes wider than the interface. Same goes for the banner when you need to approve them, the interface is bugged. Only with the MP4 format.
This version is compatible with XF 2.3

It is still there. Use the analyze permissions feature to see how that permission is set for the user you want.I could swear that I once saw this in my account preferences, but I'm not seeing it anymore. Any idea where I should be looking?

Oh, that is a sweet feature I never knew existed! Going to test that out!It is still there. Use the analyze permissions feature to see how that permission is set for the user you want.
Take a look in Appearance > Template modifications > Ads Manager > account_preferences and see if the code is applied successfully or not.The permissions are definitely set correctly for the user (me, to start with!), but I'm not seeing the option available in my forum account preferences. It's driving me crazy because I'm positive I've seen it before!
Works, great option! It is still there. Use the analyze permissions feature to see how that permission is set for the user you want.
Not at this point. But is it possible to set the default option to "do NOT show ads"
Take a look in Appearance > Template modifications > Ads Manager > account_preferences and see if the code is applied successfully or not.
It's in the Preferences tab.
We use the same setting and our default group setting "View Ads" is set to "Yes".This brings me back to my other question: how is your "View ads" set in the ACP? Yes, No, or Never?
