- JIS X 8341-3:2016 (Guidelines for older persons and persons with disabilities - Information and communications equipment, software and services - Part 3: Web content)
  JIS X 8341-3:2016 was drafted by the Web Accessibility Infrastructure Committee (WAIC). Compliance with the standard is voluntary. However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications recommends that the public sector comply with this standard by using “Everyone’s Public Website Operational Guidelines (2016)”.
- Act for Eliminating Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities
  - Japanese: 障害を理由とする差別の解消の推進に関する法律（平成二十五年法律第六十五号) (日本語)
