hook—

“i bet ¥1,200 that you can’t date L/N, todoroki!”

shouto stops in place, giving kaminari a side eye. “i don’t need ¥1,200. i have more than enough in my pocket money.”

line—

kaminari lets out a sigh, forgetting that todoroki’s pockets hurt. but he doesn’t falter one bit. “i meant that, i bet you can’t confess to them, ‘s all. the money was just a bonus.”

and that’s what really catches his attention. “confess to them about what?” he inquires genuinely, like he was trying to recall if he needed to tell you something regarding this.

kaminari’s eyes dart around, like anyone would be around to witness the absurdly. “that you like them? what else??”

shouto thinks for a moment, and it looks as if he’s trying to recall things from a different perspective. “… have i not been clear?”

“to me, yes. to them.. probably? maybe? most likely no.” kaminari says exasperated, hand now coming up to pat his shoulder. shouto feels stiff as a board under the brief contact. “you’re a popular dude, if they realized then you two would’ve been dating for months now!”

“i don’t think confessing right now is necessary. i believe i’m fine with just staying near them. our friendship.. is quite satisfactory.”

—and sinker.

“so you don’t have any courage to confess? does that mean you’ll just let someone else snatch them up?” after the words left his mouth, shouto makes a significantly obvious pause.

kaminari thinks to himself loudly, “hmm.. i wonder who will it be?” he questions, rhetorically. “should i do it? should class 1-B’s ever so cocky monoma do it? they seem to get along swimmingly. or maaaybe—”

“that won’t be a concern.” shouto coldly cuts in. “because i’ll do it.”

kaminari holds back his smile, instead— replacing it with a shocked expression (which isn’t really fabricated becaus he didn’t think he’d actually fold) “really? woah, i didn’t think that’d change your mind so quick.”

“but then wait, what do i get if you lose?”

“hm, what do you get when i lose..” shouto mimics the question— although its not said as one.

“yeah, we are betting on this, right?”

shouto shakes his head. “then it would be an unfair bet.”

“because i’ve planned on confessing and dating them regardless. i will win.”

and he did in fact go on and win the “bet” by a landslide (if you’d even call it one 😭)

he confessed his feelings— pulling you aside one afternoon after class, heart practically hammering in his chest, and stomach fluttering with butterflies.

and you accepted— which made all the anxiety worth it.

he was the ideal boyfriend. not just because he was tall, equipped with stunning and harmonious facial features with equally stunning manners, but it was also because he was just so good to you, and he allowed you to be so good to him too.

he did things he didn’t even have to do, and it all feels comfortably new even months into the relationship— which made you realize that as unbelievable as it sounds, you’re really dating your crush, todoroki shouto.

you felt so sure of yourself when you’re around him.

and that’s why you reacted so harshly when everything that was built up for months seemingly got demolished in minutes.

the two of you were getting warm drinks, when mineta appeared just a few feet away. “you two make me realize that the train tracks look good to lay down on.” he mumbles bitterly.

you laugh, stirring your drink “really now?” kaminari appears shortly after, agreeing. although he doesn’t look as bitter as your shorter classmate.

mineta perks up at that. “yeep. which makes me wonder.. how long are you going to do this for, todoroki? kaminari already lost, y’know?”

todoroki’s eyes widen at the question, “i don’t.. what?”

kaminari turns his head in mineta’s direction, like he said something of great offense, and was about to say more. “mineta, just don’t man.”

“no no, but i’m like, just super curious y’know?” mineta continues, “like, wasn’t it just a bet for you? how did you two get this far?! this is unfair! i didn’t know it would be that easy to get in a relationship!” your grape haired classmate whines, unable to read the sudden atmosphere change.

kaminari gulps, as you set your mug down.

“what does he mean.” you turn to your dual haired boyfriend, you try to steady your breathing to sound nonchalant, but the slight crack in your voice at the start of your sentence betrays you.

shouto opens his mouth, but it just confirmed it for you when he was a second too late to answer.

“you see—” kaminari scrambles to give an excuse, “it was proposed as a bet, but it wasn’t actually a bet, so technically—”

“that sounds like a bet, dude.”

“mineta—”

“it’s not as it sounds. it wasn’t a bet.” shouto answers, “though.. the circumstances should’ve been different.” he admits regretfully, heterochromatic eyes drifting from your face to your feet, noticing how you shift away from him.

and his body runs cold like a quirk malfunction when you grab your mug— fingertips against the now cool porcelain “i.. i just.. no, nevermind, it’s alright. i’m gonna go now, so..”

you know your face and voice will betray you if you stay longer, so you leave.

and shouto stands there, wondering if he should give you space and watch your figure disappear into the dark hallway, or run after you.

he chooses the later.

scenario (pt. 2)

you heave when you finally reach your room, fingers gripping your mug so hard it might just break. your vision’s starting to blur with tears of all the things you’ve been feeling these last few minutes, which is causing you to drop your dorm room’s key and miss the keyhole several times.

when you get the key in, you turn the lock and almost crumble right in when you feel a warm hand placed on your shoulder. you try not to focus on how it’s grip is firm enough to keep you in place, and blazing with familiarity.

he says your name with desperation, and you open your door more and step into your room to create space— the framing of your doorway practically being an invisible barrier.

“no, just no, i can’t,” you say, feeling pathetic when your face started to become wet with tears. you’re still unbelieving that he’d even do this, but the fact that these few months happened under not so standard circumstances was…

“i thought this was— this was something that’d happen out of those stupid teen movies we’d watch, i thought you’d never— i thought—” you hiccup, bringing a hand up to wipe your face with a hand.

he doesn’t say anything, and just breaks the barrier by stepping in and closing the door, setting your mug down on your desk. he then closes even more distance— the space between his brows creasing as he frowns, looking just as upset as you definitely look.

“when did it start? was it before we became close? was it before you asked me out? who else knew? was it all real—”

“it is real!” his voice booms with volume, clearly panicked that the idea of you thinking that his feelings weren’t real was present.

he settles his hands on your shoulders, an attempt to gather your full attention “it’s.. it’s real. if there’s one thing i’d ask you to trust in right now, it’s this. there’s some things i’d like to clarify.”

“please explain,” you practically plead, “i don’t know what to do with this information. i also.. don’t want to break up with you.”

“if you must come to that,” though he looks at you like he prays it won’t come to that. “it must be under the condition that you’ve hurt me instead. not because i’ve caused you hurt.” he lets go of you to sit down on his knees and at your feet.

“shouto, stand up—”

“i.. it’s true that i didn’t confess normally.” he starts off, ignoring your request. “i’ve liked you ever since we’ve became close friends. the moment i realized it, i assumed i was being obvious about my feelings, but kaminari betted that i wouldn’t have the courage to confess and.. someone would get to you first. i took that as a threat.”

you almost laugh at the idea of a jealous shouto, but you don’t— instead, letting out a strangled cough instead. “but i did not date you just because of a bet. i was challenged, but it was never a bet. it wasn’t a bet because there was no chance i’d never confess.”

you sniffle, bending down to be at his level. he reaches up to wipe his thumbs under your eyes— thumbs grazing at your cheekbones. “did you get anything in return? for winning?”

“i got you. that was all i needed.”

“i see..” you lean closer like you were going to whisper him a secret. but instead, you finally touch shouto by circling your arm around him— one arm wrapped around him, and the other flew to entangle your fingers in contrasting locks of hair.

“my drink became cold.” you mumble, rubbing his back when you feel him shake just as you did earlier.

he wraps strong arms around you, returning the affection.

|| TODOROKI SHŌTO

“shōto, have you been cheating on me?”

seeing that mina did this to her s/o, this made you curious of your own lover, and what could come out of asking.

no, you’re not doubting his loyalty, you just like to know how shōto would respond to such a question.

plus you want to vibe check his ass 🌝

despite this being a result of you being curious, and eager to know his answer, you were still pretty anxious. if he ended up fessing up something he did fr, it might just be your (real) 13th reason 😭

but then again, it’s shōto we’re talking about. you have faith in him🧎‍♀️

you were able to catch your boyfriend at a good time, as this allows you to gain an authentic answer from shōto.

he was slurping down his favorite soba noodles when you randomly questioned him, and when your words finally sinked into his mind, the slurping came to an abrupt halt.

you could say that he lost his appetite at the idea of cheating on you 💀

“no, never.” shōto replies, with noodles still in his mouth. he chews on the remaining noodles, swallowing them down.

“did i do something wrong?” he asks. though his expression still contained some ounce of neutrality, you could tell by looking at his eyes, he’s saddened at the concept.

he wonders what gave you that idea, and thinks hard. ofc he doesn’t find anything.

you’re like.. the first and only person he developed the feels ™️ for, and that has made him feel this way. so, the idea of breaking, and betraying your trust, is maddening.

“i did, didn’t i? that’s why you’re asking..” he sets down his utensils to get closer to you.

“i can’t think of anything i’ve done wrong, but i’d like to make up for it.”

he gets a hold of your hand, and starts playing with your fingers, “i want you to know how i’ve always felt about you.”

it’s about time you tell him.

“shōto, it was a joke. i don’t think you’ve actually cheated on me,” you press a kiss on his cheek, “i know you love me waaaay too much.”

shōto offers a small smile in return, and slowly starts to finish his soba, the tip of his ears now blushed in red.

so, shōto definitely passes the vibe check 🌝😎

MIDORIYA IZUKU ||

“izuku, have you been seeing secretly someone i’m not completely aware of?” 🙁🤨

poor him tbh.

like the other two, curiosity got the best of you.

but this happened to pop up during the busiest time regarding class activity, making it impossible to go on any weekly couple dates, or see each other like usual

and that’s in general.

this was also so conveniently timed, your reasoning behind asking such a cursed question has been split into two 💀

though you’re certain that izuku’s not the type, you definitely want to know if he has any interesting, and new to say. though it’s still fine if he didn’t.

catching him at a good time was challenging considering how busy the two of you have been.

and that he’s the most workaholic-y dude out of the main three 😀

but getting the question out was a lot easier, since izuku’s well.. izuku. though he’s multitasking, you could clearly tell that he’s still hearing, and listening to your every word.

which is why his expression dropped in mortification and the pen in his hand fell, when you went straight to the chase.

“w-what?” he repeats, shocked at the idea of literally breaking your trust, seeing, and harboring feelings for someone that isn’t you, is mind boggling and literally idiotic 💀

“no! never. i haven’t, but.. why do you ask? what made you think that way, y/n?” abandoning his current task, he turns to you, and is immediately lost in thought, left to think more about his behavior as of recent.

he thought about it so hard, you were convinced that his brain was going to give out 😦

he breaks the silence, “it’s because of the lack of time together?”

“i’m sorry, you might be getting sick of me saying it, but i really am!” if you looked closely, his eyes are starting to look glassier in appearance “i know you say that i overexert myself at times, which is true. i don’t even realize i am, i’m going to work on it though, i promise!”

seeing him like this is literally breaking your heart 🙁 you should definitely end his suffering by breaking the news to him.

“izuku, it’s okay.” you reassure him, “we were all equally busy these past few weeks, and i’m honestly proud seeing you continuously work hard. just because we haven’t been out on any dates lately, doesn’t mean you’re automatically disloyal to me. i know you.”

“so then why—”

“i was curious. i’m sorry for stopping your heart like that, ‘zuku.” because it really felt like it did for a second 💀 this has him crying and throwing up on the inside 😭

“oh, alright..” he mumbles, faltering for a split second. but his eyes light up, as if he remembered something special.

“so, can i take you out on a date?”

“sure, when?”

“right now.”

“oh?”

“can i please take you out on a date? right now? if you want. i’m.. actually done with all of my stuff for the day.”

his eyes light up, and continue to sparkle with elation and joy, when you say yes, returning his enthusiasm.

Todoroki Shouto:

♡ He doesn't really know how relationships work, but he definitely knows how they shouldn't

♡ Expect him to be a bit flabbergasted at first when he met you

♡ He knows you're beautiful, but he doesn't know how to name the feeling he has

♡ Yes, he is very stoic, and yes, he is very blunt. But even if he is, he's kinda oblivious too

♡ His left side is activating on its own because of how much he's blushing around you, he's struggling

♡ Midoriya will probably have to call him out on his feelings, because he won't really have a chance to figure it out

♡ "Is there a chance that you like them, maybe?" Midoriya asked him, feeling awkward to ask this kind of question.

♡ "I like them?" Boy, is so confused.

♡ But he's so devoted to you

♡ You made his life much better ever since you met, and now that you're together he's just so happy ;>.<;

♡ He will probably follow you around like a puppy because he wants to be with you

♡ But he's definitely blushing whenever he sees you and when you look at him

♡ Lot of times feels like he could just sink into the ground and disappear because of how nervous you make him

♡ Mirio and Nejire are just looking on, smiling at him to show him that they believe in him

♡ "You can do it!" Mirio yelled out, determined to show his support.

♡ "I can't," only for him to hide more.

♡ "It's so strange when S/O thinks you look cute," Nejire pondered, making him blush.

♡ Tamaki.exe has stopped functioning

♡ But no matter how scared he is, he feels also so happy to be around you

♡ You're really cute and you just make him so comfortable with your cheerful self

♡ Will let you drag him around by his hand to see practically anything

♡ But the skin on skin contact will make him blush and stutter a lot

♡ You will have to be the one who takes the lead, but he loves every second of it

♡ He loves it when you bring him food to see him using his quirk after

♡ He's shy, but he will do anything for you

♡ "A new restaurant opened up, it's really popular! Want to go there with me?" You would walk alongside him, a grin on your face.

♡ He gets nervous at public places and feels overwhelmed around people, but if you hold his hand he will calm down

Tokoyami Fumikage:

♡ Well, he doesn't ever since he met you

♡ I think he secretly likes some cute things even though he is into dark stuff

♡ He will be so surprised when you wanted to talk to him, mainly because you're so innocent and cheerful that he feels a bit out of place

♡ That doesn't mean he won't like it though

♡ "S/O!" He called out to you, quicker than he could process what he was doing.

♡ "What is it?" You turned around and grinned at him.

♡ "It's nothing."

♡ He's really taken aback by your charm

♡ He's not used to have such warm people around him, nonetheless the ones who actively seek him out all the time

♡ He will be the one to ask you out, however, he will take his time

♡ You were polar opposites so it surprises everyone around you when you start dating

♡ "Hey," you leaned into him, whispering.

♡ "What is it?"

♡ "I love you," you smiled sweetly, only to leave him speechless.

♡ He'll help you around a lot and make sure to keep you company

♡ He kind of wants to be the rock that you can lean on when it gets hard

♡ If he's the darkness, you're the light

♡ Your personality makes him feel a lot better about lot of things

Midoriya Izuku: Kindergarten Teacher

Izuku’s good with kids, he’s kind and patient. He takes his time when teaching them, slowing down when he sees a kid that’s struggling to keep up but is too embarrassed to say anything. Izuku stays late after school, his doors open for kids who need extra help or just don’t want to go home yet. He’s the teacher that has snacks and water, he has notebooks, pens and pencils. He has everything he thinks a kid would need, everything he needed when he was a kid of a single mom.

Todoroki Shouto: Bartender/Lead Singer

When asked why he wanted to be a bartender, Shouto would only have one answer. “To piss off my dad.” His father hated the fact that Shouto refused to pursue acting follow in his footsteps, but he hated even more when he followed in Rei’s footsteps.(thanks to Mina, who never stopped insisting that he joined her high school band since the first time she heard him sing at the bar) At first, Shouto refused to ever do anything to put him in the spotlight. He hated the idea that anything he did in life would be credited to his father. But when he realized that Enji hated the idea of him becoming a musician because it would be credited to his mother? He was all for it.

Bakugou Katsuki: Personal Trainer/Drummer

He was always expected to go into the fashion industry, just like his parents, but he never wanted that. He always wanted to become a professional athlete, looking up to professional basketball player, Toshinori Yagi. He started throwing basketballs before he could even walk so it was no surprise to his parents when he looked them straight in the eye and told them “I’m gonna be the best basketball player ever!” What was a surprise to them, was when they came home one day from visiting Izuku in the hospital and threw away everything related to any sport. Ever since that day, Katsuki devoted his free time into learning what it took to be a personal trainer because that's what he was going to do with his life. And that's what he did, which is where he met Kirishima early in both of their careers. They easily (read: forcefully) became close friends and Katsuki was later introduced to Mina, who convinced him (read: annoyed him into) to become a 'temporary' drummer for her band.

note: i had to restart all of these bc i put too much detail that made them too sad lmao but please let me know about your thoughts and opinions and if i should continue with other characters

shoto who manages to stutter out how stunning you look in your outfit as well, causing the most beautiful smile in response.

shoto who feels himself warm up after the appetizers are brought out because you keep asking him open ended questions to keep the conversation going where he lacks the skill.

shoto who can’t stop staring at your eyes and your lips where your perfect smile remains the same.

shoto who is surprised at how easy you make this whole entire night for him, despite how nervous he is to make a good impression.

shoto whose entire body warms when your hand brushes his on the way back out to the car.

shoto who hates the fact that the drive back to your apartment is so short meaning your night is coming to an end.

shoto who finally reaches out for you as he walks you to the elevator, his pinky wrapping around yours in the most delicate fashion.

shoto who can’t believe his luck when you fully take hold of his hand and pull him a little bit closer.

shoto who fights with himself over whether he should go for a goodnight kiss.

shoto who is sure that he’s falling fast when you lean in and gently kiss his cheek when he drops you off at your door.

shoto who can say nothing but yes when you invite him inside for a night cap.
