Lights flash everywhere, and you see the Empires / Life series / HBomb / hermits hanging out in the Decked Out lobby and comparing decks. Everyone in the crowd is going wild and crying. Then if things couldn’t get any better, Ren and Martyn walk into the lobby and kiss, holding the Dogwarts flag.

“came back wrong” trope but it’s ren returning to life series and realises martyn is… different. more of a loose cannon. more selfish. he’s still helpful, he’s still witty, and he still trusts him, but to ren, there’s something wicked within martyn’s soul. still, he can fix him. he can bring his martyn back.

meanwhile martyn has been wandering the four corners of the world and having a jolly old time when ren comes back. and… it’s great! it’s fine! him and ren are basing together! they’re allies! but he’s not his king anymore.

and sometimes, martyn thinks ren doesn’t understand him in the way he did before. because ren doesn’t know. and because of that, ren is… different.
