I'm not one to usually gatekeep, but with the recent talk of the american TikTok ban going around, I keep seeing people suggest moving to Tumblr. While I do appreciate new people coming over to our platform, I am concerned that TikTokers of all people coming. Tiktok is the #1 social media spot for antishippers. The problem is so bad there you can't even leave a comment with "ππ" in your name without being attacked by antis even if the initial comment had nothing to do with ship discourse. All I'm saying is I'm worried that if Tiktokers start using Tumblr, there will be way more antis here, and the problem will become rampant. Tumblr, at least from what I've seen, is a pretty accepting community when it comes to profic/proship, and I'm scared of that being ruined.
