as a phantom thief, you were already familiar with strange things, so you shouldn't have been so surprised when your boyfriend turned into a cat

after all, you all had turned into mice in shido's palace once and one of the members of your group was a cat! 

but this time the curse had only hit your boyfriend, who had went ahead to check if the next area in the palace was safe

though your boyfriend didn't return again and instead a black cat did! 

it took you a while to realize that ren and the cat were the same person! or the same cat? well, they were the same! 

unlike morgana, ren couldn't talk in his cat state and instead only meowed at you

it was a surprise at first, but after the initial shock slowly faded away, he became quite adorable to look at

you gently picked up ren and couldn't help but pat his little head, immediately hearing him purr in response

honestly, you could've continued cuddling your boyfriend like this, but since you were in a palace, you didn't want to push your luck and get ambushed

the team retreated to the nearest safe room, with you carrying your boyfriend there

once you arrived there, you started to discuss how to handle this new situation, while you kept ren on your lap this entire time, patting him and feeding him little treats that you usually kept around for morgana

you weren't sure if he'd even enjoy them or not, but ren didn't seem to complain, so you continued feeding him with them

ultimately, the team decided to leave the palace for today and hope that this would reverse the effects of the curse ren was under

and sure enough, when you all left the palace again, ren turned back into his human self! 

though now he was complaining about those gross treats you fed him, while also seeming flustered that you cuddled with him so much in his cat form…

I haven't actually gotten around to watching the animation yet so I can't confirm lol but I hope this answered your question. as to where I got it, I found it on Pinterest :))
