It was a Saturday. And Saturdays meant movie nights with your amazing girlfriend Penelope Garcia. it became an accidental tradition, after your first date, you had organised a movie night, you both grabbed tons of blankets and sweets, then put on the oldest rom coms you could find. and it was bliss. It would happen every Saturday without fail, which was pretty extraordinary due to where she works. But this Saturday was no exception. Since Penny had a full day off of work, which she never usually gets, you decided to spend the whole day together. You had met up with her at midday, having lunch together at your favourite place. A cute little diner on the corner of 5th and Main, with a big, purple neon sign on the outside. You had lunch, two amazing burgers, she was convinced they were the best burgers in Virginia, you agreed, they were delicious, and shared a bubblegum shake, just like in the movies. Then headed off to her favourite park at around 2 pm. it felt like we were children again. Playing on the swings, but you wouldn't change it for the world. You two had eventually gotten tired, around 5 pm. You connected your hands and smiled at her, and you talked all the way home, about what movies and sweets you have. You eventually arrived home, tired after your walk. The second you stepped into her apartment, you bolted to jump on the couch.
"Ahhhh, sweet couch, oh how I've missed you, my sweet sweet baby" You said dramatically, throwing yourself over the couch.
"Hey!" Penelope whined "I thought I was your sweet sweet baby" She said with a pout. You got up and walked over to her, grabbing her face.
"Don't worry, your my sweet sweet baby too" She broke out in a grin. "Come on, I wanna watch some terrible old rom coms" You both giggled and began to get things ready. She grabbed as many blankets as she could from the cupboard, laying them all comfortable on the couch, While you went to the kitchen to sort some snacks out. You got a bowl of popcorn with chocolate drizzle, a bowl of candy, and some very expensive wine. You brought all the stuff to the coffee table in front of the tv.
"Ah, (Y/N), you spoil me!" She giggled and threw her arms around you.
"Only for you" You smiled.
"Right, movie time!" She squealed. "Breakfast at Tiffany's, or Gone with the Wind?"
"mmm, Tiffanys?" So you got into your blanket fort together, and the movies commenced.
It was 5 hours into your movie marathon, and around 10 pm. You were cuddled up into Penelope, your head under her chin, asleep soundly. She stared down at you in admiration, watching your chest rise and fall. A noise from her doorway alerted her, and her head immediately shot up.
"Hey, Tech Princess, any more info on the case I asked you about?" Morgan shouted as he entered the apartment.
"Shhhhh!" She whisper-shouted, watching as you stirred in your sleep. He turned the corner and spotted you, raising his eyebrows.
"Sorry, Princess, Didn't know you where busy" He wiggled his eyebrows.
"Derek Morgan! If you do not leave within 5 seconds I will personally, hack every electronic you own and wipe you from the face of the ear!" She whisper-shouted, using vigorous hand movements, but being sure not to wake you. Morgan raised his hands and began to back away towards the door.
"Alright, alright, have a good night" He said wiggling his eyebrows as he left. Pen just sighed and rolled her eyes before hearing your soft giggle vibrate on her chest.
"I'm sorry he interrupted and woke you up" Her original grumpiness had turned into giggles and soon you were both in fits of laughter.
