I honestly don't get why they didn't just give the Shintaran people actual wings. Like they hyped up this society of winged people and then the "wings" are just a contraption you put on your back??? Lame. It's not like having real wings would've changed anything either?? Like if you still need Vania to be falling with Cole and Wu and unable to fly them to safety, just have her be young with undeveloped wings that aren't strong enough yet! C'mon people!
