i’ve noticed just how hateful the “trans community” is. as a detrans woman, all i get from ANY trans person is hate.
the misogyny is evident once i tell them im detrans. it’s crazy how troons will jump to invalidating my experiences, acting like i don’t deserve a space to talk about what i went through. i can’t talk about how manipulative the “trans community” is without it being considered hate speech.
women online: feminism is not about hating men, it’s about equality for everyone😌 what do you mean you don’t read books by men, listen to male artists and don’t have male friends? that’s not feminist, that’s men hating😒 because of women like you feminism has a bad reputation! men would support feminism if it wasn’t for you!
men online: damn why is it getting harder to find real rape videos to jack off….all the rape on phub looks too fake and doesnt make me hard anymore…..
not normie enough to fit in but not fringe enough to lean into being a freak, worst of both worlds, pure liminality, just the weird coworker, and unrelatable classmate. and your mutual
I feel such a dark, indescribable feeling of grief when I read old/vintage lit, especially feminist lit, especially when it comes to all-women gatherings. i can't stop thinking about it. all-women clubs, societies, groups, therapies, get-togethers, music festivals. women gathering amongst themselves and sharing their stories of trauma and healing, their poetry and works of art, their love for themselves and others. groups that included all kinds of women: single women, married women. widows. young. old. mothers. grandmothers. white women and women of color. all together, united, even if just for a short time. free to be themselves. free not just from male violence but the threat of male violence, which is ever present in our minds, which is something we're taught is inescapable and inevitable, something from which we're not safe from even in our own homes. free to dance, sing, read, write, be merry, go topless if we want - free from judgment, free to be ourselves. free to be wild. free to be free.
And I think the worst part is I feel evil for wanting this. I feel wrong. I feel bad, like there is a darkness in me. That accusatory voice in my head keeps me up at night, the voice this website internalized in me - what's wrong with you? why do you hate men? why can't you be inclusive? as well as a few terrible names I'd rather not repeat. I feel like this type of thinking is dangerous. Like this thought it a fire, and if I play with it I'll eventually get burned. Or it's a black hole, and I'll get sucked in. How can someone be so terrified of thoughts? How can someone have the stress of being hunted for sport over just saying words?
In terms of feeling evil about it, read (Un)kind by Victoria Smith. She pulls no punches about how fucked up it is to deny us this when in a fair world, the whole world would be safe for us.

The elusive "TERF" is actually just a mirror
All its devotees know is projection. When I started this blog in late 2020 I more frequently used the tag #DARVO in action to start keeping track of the blatant lies TRAs spew that are really just a tell about their crowd (DARVO = Deny Attack Reverse Victim Offend, a strategy used often by DV abusers) and I just have to start making this cumulative post because:
They're now saying John Money was a radical feminist. Lmfao 💀 The male cracker extraordinaire (we don't even think males can be feminists let alone human most of the time) most responsible for the word gender's mistranslation as something that describes human behavior rather than the behavior of languages (most of which aren't even English), the idiot torturer who's a major reason the intersex community has to guard itself so fiercely against "normative" surgeries, who once claimed that anyone skeptical of his "girl = pink, boy = blue, I must fix anyone else" theories actually just believed that "masculinity and femininity are baked into the genes and women should get back to the kitchen" (sound familiar? What are "TERFs" always being accused of?) Like bro that's you
"TERFs are fascists who need everyone to fit into the male or the female box" actually gender abolition would mean no more boxes besides the purely categorical chromosomal ones we can't help from birth, and actually trying to force everyone to fall somewhere on a scale of femininity and masculinity and positing intersex conditions as the "middle" creates an unnecessary dichotomy amongst particularly females, where a woman born with PCOS is considered "less female" than one without regardless of how she "identifies," and the more "masculine" you are (whatever that even means) the more your body requires meds and surgery.
"TERFs align with fascists" but y'all are the ones with the Big Pharma billions paving your way so lol sorry not sorry but as a Negro it's giving the way they used to experiment on us for profit, refine their methods for research and leave us for dead or permanently disabled. And y'all think it's empowering? You think they actually care that you're personally fulfilled? You think they won't pull another Henrietta Lacks? You think all these detrans people are just flukes? They'll take your thousands of dollars until you're in debt and pump you full of more dubious "treatment" as long as it means they get to keep quietly going home to their white picket fences where all their loved ones are fine pretending they're heroes rather than profiting off others' pain. What is fascism if not allowing the medical establishment to "correct undesirables"?
"TERFs are Nazis" but the "first ever transgender surgery" on "trans woman" Lillie Ebe was performed by literal fucking Nazi Erwin Gohrbrandt who believed "mentally ill people were considered 'feeble-minded' (this was an actual, formal term) and homosexuals were considered to also be 'feeble-minded' and have inferior genes." Fun fact, Lillie was also a fucking Nazi.
"TERFs are all white supremacists" but everyone I just mentioned up there is a fucking white supremacist and not even Google agrees with you there, searches for the word TERF are done almost entirely in Western nations like the US and UK, whereas searches for radfem are balanced worldwide and in fact an African country is #1 on one of those lists, and you can't argue that those searches are by TERFs themselves because "try Googling TERF right now and seeing how many if any positive references show up"
I have more after 4 years lol but lemme cook

It always strikes me as odd how aileen wuornos is known as THE female serial killer when she’s not even half as bad as her male counterparts. Aileen shot seven men who had purchased her body meanwhile male serial killers go on to murder and rape innocent women and children just because they can. You can not purchase consent from someone, if you have to pay then that’s rape. Aileen was a victim meanwhile bundy, ramirez, gacy ect were the predators. She doesn’t deserve to be grouped in with such vile men.
She would have killed those shitstains before they had a chance to kill her. At least one of her "victims" had already had rape reports against him by other women. And he never raped another woman after Aileen was done with him. Nor did the others.
Aileen was executed to show women what happens when we fight back and defend ourselves: men will kill us. so we might as well not even try to fight back and instead take our chances with the man/men attacking us.
We can't allow that bullshit to be Aileen's legacy. We have to remind people that she wasn't a serial killer, what she did was justified and her execution was a miscarriage of justice.
god gives his coolest girlfriends to his most loser reddit bros
When a man says “not all men” in response to conversations about sexual assault, abuse, or violence, he’s waving a giant red flag. He’s not just deflecting; he’s aligning himself with r*pists and abusers.
That knee-jerk reaction to center himself instead of victims screams guilt, complicity, or both. Men like this are a product of a patriarchal system that protects abusers and silences survivors—and they’re actively maintaining it.
Believe them when they show you who they are.

It's exhausting having to see so much misogynistic language everywhere I turn.
porn addicts when you explain your anti porn stance that has nothing to do with god, religion, or thinking sex is immoral
I have seen legal cases numerous times where a rapist or murderer was being strangled or held down by his female victim who got the upper hand. Every time, he begs and says “I’m sorry!” or “I promise I’ll stop!” and if the victim believes him, he, without fail, goes back to assaulting her or trying to kill her.
Do NOT hesitate when you get a chance to land blows. It does not matter if you kill him. Save your own life. Show no mercy.

today i had the dubious honor of learning that william wordsworth stole entire passages out of the journals his sister, Dorothy Wordsworth, wrote.
"The Grasmere Journal and Wordsworth's other works revealed how vital she was to her brother's success. William relied on her detailed accounts of nature scenes and borrowed freely from her journals. This passage is clearly brought to mind when reading William's 'Daffodils', where her brother, in this poem of two years later, describes what appears to be the shared experience in the journal as his own solitary observation. Her observations and descriptions have been considered to be as poetic if not more so than those of her brother."
someone asked for sources.
please first of all read the wikipedia articles on all these people. it will save you time.
I consider labor or influence without credit, theft.
Credit = a name on a book / paper. Written acknowledgement. Verbal acknowledgement sometimes, but too many men pay lip service to these women by dropping their name one time in one interview and calling it a day. In several cases, given the scope of these women's contributions and the originality of their work, that is a humiliating pittance.
will break this into multiple parts. this part covers dr seuss, all thieves of Hilma af Klint and Yayoi Kusama, albert einstein, pablo picasso, henri matisse.
dr seuss: Helen Palmer "gave him his life's direction". his output during the most prolific decade of his career was "heavily dependent on the tireless editorial advice and encouragement of his wife, Helen" who was herself a writer of children's books. (https://www.nytimes.com/1995/04/23/books/the-man-who-invented-the-cat-in-the-hat.html).
paul klee, andy warhol, cy twombly, wassily kandinsky (who i didn't add but should've): Hilma af Klint (1862-1944) created her first, hence the first, abstract painting in 1906. she met rudolf steiner in 1908, who was unimpressed with her work but kept photos of it. he then showed those photos to kandinsky, who had not yet begun abstract painting and was almost certainly influenced by her work when developing his own abstract painting path. kandinsky, if you didn't know, is the man who had the audacity to claim that he created the first abstract painting in 1911. her abstract work was exhibited only once during her lifetime, a small showing in london in 1928. the first full showing of her abstract work in 1986 in LA is what kicked off her international recognition. (https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2020/oct/06/hilma-af-klint-abstract-art-beyond-the-visible-film-documentary, https://www.tate.org.uk/tate-etc/issue-27-spring-2013/first-abstract-artist-and-its-not-kandinsky) "In 1944, three great pioneers of abstract art died: Wassily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrian, and af Klint. Kandinsky claimed to have created the first abstract painting in 1911. And when in 2012 New York’s Museum of Modern Art staged their show Inventing Abstraction 1910-1925, Af Klint was not even included as a footnote. And yet, as Frankfurter Allgemeine Zweitung art critic Julia Voss argues in the film, the Swedish artist had the jump on Kandinsky by five years in producing the first abstract painting in 1906. For her film, Dyrschka contracted MoMA to find out why Af Klint had been erased from art history and was told “they weren’t so sure Hilma af Klint’s art worked as abstract art. After all, she hadn’t exhibited in her lifetime so how could one tell?” In the film, Dyrschka tries to answer that question by juxtaposing paintings by Af Klint with those of famous 20th-century male artists. Her golden square from 1916 is placed alongside a similar image by Josef Albers from 1971; her automatic writing doodles from 1896 are pitted against Cy Twombly's 1967 squiggles. They make the rhetorical point strongly: whatever the men were doing, af Klint had probably done it first." These side-by-side comparisons are available in this post. https://www.tumblr.com/podcactuses/719955771571519488?source=share. Credit to pintoras and theoldlesbianwithcats.
andy warhol, claes oldenburg, lucas samaras: their theft of the work of Yayoi Kusama is very well documented since it's in the modern day. (https://www.bbc.com/culture/article/20180925-yayoi-kusamas-extraordinary-survival-story) "Claes Oldenburg was ‘inspired’ by her fabric phallic couch to start creating the soft sculpture for which he would become world famous, while Andy Warhol would copy her innovative idea of creating repeated images of the sole exhibit in her One Thousand Boats installation for his Cow Wallpaper. But worse was to come. In 1965 Kusama created the world’s first mirrored-room environment, a precursor to her Infinity Mirror Rooms, at the Castellane Gallery in New York. As man prepared to head for the moon, Kusama had uniquely grasped the public’s growing awareness of infinity. She confronted them with this unnerving concept through a seemingly endless environment. Only a few months later, in a complete change of artistic direction, avant-garde artist Lucas Samaras exhibited his own mirrored installation at the far more prestigious Pace Gallery. Distraught and dejected, Kusama threw herself from the window of her apartment."
