I've had her for a while but like I realised I never rly introduced her here (nor does she have a proper post even on my tt) so random hetalia oc dump sorry chat anyway

Chat I'm gonna be real I'm not good at making introduction posts for anything bc my brain works more like a beehive than a brain but basically her name is Talvikki and she's Tino's mother
Lore wise she probably makes little to no sense but like I sort of hc Tino only really came around in the 1000s but people have lived in Finland for significantly longer than that so she'd be the representation for those tribes
It's kinda complicated but she came around bc I thought Tino seemed like the mama's boy type and since the map of Finland kinda looks like a woman (hence why it's called the Finnish maiden) and historically Finland's personification has been a young woman I thought it'd be like neat if Tino had a mother, dunno if that makes sense it probably doesn't but oh well
Old doodles of her people on tt have already seen, second picture has Tino as a kid
I think she essentially works kinda like Rome does in the series where she's "dead" (happened somewhere in the 1100s-1200s when Finland was connected to Sweden) but will sometimes appear if Tino needs help
(Ocs on the left and Talvikki's arms belong to my friend, Tino's the one sitting on Talvikki's shoulders)

Back again and there are some things to my friend's beef with Finland, I don't know why they developed such beef with that country but I believe it might have happened after their trip there but heavens knows what happened there- I'm guessing it's probably a joke from them but everytime Finland is mentioned either in history or geography they look at me like they are about to explode 😭
I want to know what is behind the phenomenon of random people having beef w Finland I've heard so many similar stories (obv ik u and the earlier anon are the same I'm referring to past experiences) its hilarious
