This was a tough one for me to grasp when I first started exploring femdom and the matriarchal world. It was a strange feeling, because I had lived a huge portion of my life deeply people pleasing—as most women do. We aren’t taught to take up space. We are instead encouraged to shrink ourselves, to apologize for being “too much”, “too demanding”, “too bossy”.

The first time I experienced true submission. That is submission that centered me in its core, I was extremely uncomfortable with how much he wanted to serve me, and in many ways felt overwhelmed. I was not used to taking up space in that way, or rather, I was not used to people being okay with me taking up space, let alone having someone at my beck and call at every turn.
