Julezen 2025: #16 "Hiking"
Mt. Gulg, towering over Kholusia for so long, finally felt safe enough to explore. Or at least safe enough for Meri's pleading with her betrothed to pay off with something other than his hand grabbing her thigh.
With broad slopes and no sin-eaters to fret over, it promised a lovely day of hiking. A few hours up the slopes, a picnic at some pleasant spot, and a gentle return.
Or at least that's what she'd intended for them to do.
Cyrus apparently had other ideas, which she realized when he dropped the backpack with their hiking gear and began chasing her up the slope.
"We're not far enough up!"
"You can't outrun me, Meri!"
"That ass is definitely mine!"
"CYRUS! You're supposed to WAIT until we get HIGHER!"
"How much higher do you need to be, Mari? Want me to hold you over my head?"
