and one last thing I will stay skipping every henry song no matter what due to the guy who was obsessed with me & harassed me played him in our HIGH SCHOOL PRODUCTION (which is insane to begin with but anyway) and he loooved playing a sensitive and empathetic lover boy and it SICKENED MEEE so for personal reasons yes I will be skipping those fucking songs LOL

my theater kid take of the night now that the next to normal west end soundtrack is out on streaming services is that the original is way better musically but the new one is better directed & acted. watching the new one I thought the vocals were kinda lacking save for some satisfying intonations on certain words (what a lovely cure it's a medical miracle with a mind so PURE that she doesn't know anything) and incredible harmonies, mainly coming from natalie & gabe, those 2 def were major improvements. diana was pretty good but dan has muppet voice which is kinda killing my listening of the new version. like the storytelling and handling of the subject matter is way way way better, but am I crazy for thinking some of it sounded kinda flat?? The band was great though.

overall: original was more music forward, new one plot heavier. So while I enjoyed the new one WAY more in regards to The Performance, I think I shall be continuing to listen to the original soundtrack. Thank you
