I adore this recent trend (if that's the right word) of letting an orchestra play classical music on a festival. It's magical to see thousands of festival-goers going absolutely wild on Beethoven. Mosh/circlepits, crowd surfing. It's wonderful to see the orchestra and the audience having the time of their lives.

They have to keep it on easy going Beethoven like Ode to Joy here to ensure a more docile response. They cant play In the Hall of the Mountain King cause they were already burning down venues when Grieg dropped that one back in 1875, today there would be a radioactive crater.

daily affirmations:

i am kind

i am in control of my emotions

it does not bother me when someone is in the kitchen while i was planning to be in there alone

everyone in the house has the right to be in the kitchen

i am kind and in control of my emotions even when someone is in the kitchen while i was planning to be in there alone

I don't wanna hear one more bitch saying that contacting your senators&reps doesn't work

Btw, this is FAR from getting rid of the land selloff from the BBB. Keep at it. Mike Lee specifically is notable because he's from Utah, the state that's pushed for that sell off very heavily for mining income.

After three months of labor-conducive love, my silkscreen book is complete!

Based off of the video game ANATOMY, it tells the story of what it really means to live in a haunted house

This game has some of the best writing and one of the most original ideas I’ve seen in a while, so please, take a look!

i hate driving. here are the laws! if you break them there will be consequences! except youre also expected to break the law just a little bit. people will get mad at you if you dont. you dont have right of way but the person who does is waving you forward for some reason. here's the speed limit! it's not the speed limit, the actual speed limit is that plus ~5-10. the light is green but you're in the turning lane. can you go? should you have gone just then? the person behind you is honking at you. there's a weird noise coming from your engine; if you try to do the right thing and get it checked out, will you get scammed? you are driving a 1-2 ton metal machine rocketing at speeds unknown to humankind for most of history. around a million people die in car accidents every year; that's about one person every thirty seconds. if you take that seriously and try to drive safely then people get mad at you.

I get that this is mostly a me thing but seeing so many posts making fun of "holy blood cannibalism pomegranate deer" style writing just makes me sad ;-; . guys that's a lot of people's first stab at poetry that's hobby art that's a vulnerable thing to post those are passion projects...

also this might be my bias as a vampire liker showing but. have you guys SEEN blood?

I was writing a scene where a character is digging a grave and it occurred to me that the person digging the grave has to go in it before the real occupant ever does. No grave ever belongs to you because someone else was there first. And so I came to my friend who loves death Mr. Loveless to see if you had any interesting thoughts about graves bc I am a fan of your mind.

i think that the gravedigger is one of the kindest culturally universal figures, labouring again and again to knock on the doors to the house of death to ask if it has room for one more, carrying the dead in their shrouds like a bride to her wedding bed, with no expectations of gratitude or repayment, only the hope that someone else will venture down that path at least once to do the same for them when their own time to cross the threshold inevitably comes
