I feel like ive seen quite a few gfms getting passed around and ive observed that a lot of them have stories of such exceptional people who have achieved so much, or were going to before the genocide cut it off. And i really commend them for it, i really do.

But it breaks my heart that palestinians reaching out to us feel the need to have to prove that they are they are good people who are worth the support, like theyre only worth being supported if they had a good gpa or were exceptional in some way.

They shouldnt have to prove that theyre beneficial to the economy somehow to be worth the support. They shouldnt have to be exceptional to deserve help. Our governments are putting them through this, both in the west and around the world too. They shouldnt have to prove anything. We owe them this

Ok this got a lot of notes unexpectedly so gonna link a few fundraisers here of people who reached out to me.

Would like to request everyone to continue supporting the fundraisers in whatever way you can please. There is a ceasefire- there is relief, there is sadness and so many other things that none of us who are outsiders will ever know...but i have been talking to some of my Gazan friends on here, and right now what is happening is people want to go back home- they want to clean the rubble and rebuild it. They want to rebuild their lives. They want to rebuild Gaza. The ceasefire is only the first step and our solidarity should go beyond it.

What I am trying to say is that for fifteen months Gaza has been carpet bombed and rebuilding will take time. Gaza will be rebuilt by her own people and in the mean time, life has to go on. It absolutely has to, for Gaza to recuperate. There are semester fees that has to be paid. There are careers and business to get back to. There are medicines and food and tents that need to be bought right now. I know the aid trucks will bring in relief but still some costs need to be covered. Also the municipality projects will need funding, the soup kitchens and other grassroot orgs. There is such a long way to go. Please keep talking about Gaza. Keep responding to asks and messages as much as you can. Please keep on boosting fundraisers ( org/individual) and donate if possible.

  • I want to link my friend Siraj's fundraiser here- he is in south Gaza and has been trying to buy a tent for close to two weeks. Tents do not help keep out the cold or the rain, but it is still better than nothing. If you remember that Siraj's initial campaign was so that he can rebuild his house, and Siraj will rebuild a home for his family, he will resume his work as a journalist, but for now he needs to buy a tent.
  • My friend Mohammad Ayesh wants to return to North Gaza. He wants to finish his campaign as soon as possible because once he is in the North, he won't be able to campaign. He has his life to rebuild and the sooner he can finish the campaign, the more quickly he can get to it. He was an university student on October 2023. He has so much to do now. So please help.

@canaanitepalestinian worked very hard during the genocide to help vet Palestinian campaigns. He also has his own campaign and is currently urgently raising funds to help him go back to his house on northern Gaza. He's very close to reaching his goal on gofundme, now at £42,068/£45,000, and you can also donate to him through paypal. Please help him by sharing his links and donating to him if you can

Thank you, reblog please 🤍🙏🏻

I am one of the sons of Al Shati refugee camp, and a survivor of Al Shifa hospital massacre. Does anybody care to hear my story?

I live in Gaza city, where my youth was taken from me.

On 7-10-2023 I was asleep, my biggest concern was waking up in time for the 8am lecture at my university.

I'm in Al-Shati camp, south of Gaza. I'm sure you've heard of it. Today is 26-11-2024, it's been more than a year, and I'm still living outside my house. I don't understand why this happened, or why I'm still not in my house.

About two weeks ago was the anniversary of our displacement from northern Gaza to the south and since that day we've known nothing but hardship.

The tent where we live is inhabitable and cannot support any form of life in this cold and this rain and this flooding.

Of all these terrors, the memory of our displacement is the bleakest of them all.

On 10-11-2023, we experienced two days of siege on Al Shifaa hospital, without food nor drink nor even light to see around us, feeling our way like we're blind in order to move around, because even our phones had run out of battery, not even knowing whether the occupation has invaded the hospital yet or not, all we hear is the sound of ceaseless bombardment within the hospital's perimeter.

We lost a lot of people that day. Those who were detained, those who were murdered, and those whose fates are unknown to this day.

We couldn't believe it when the morning finally came, and we finally fled the hospital, to walk 20 kilometers on our feet through Al Halabat path after two days with no food or drink.

This is the story of one of Gaza's sons. My story is not singular, but one of many stories that strengthen our conviction in our right to this land. Most of us here have died for this land.

Our condition today is horrible. This war is picking us off one by one. I am not willing to lose another member of my family. Causes of death are compounding, the latest of which is the cold and storms that the weather has brought.

With only 5 dollars, you can save me and my family's lives. If you can't donate, share this post so it can reach someone who can help us.

Today, with a significant drop in temperatures and a sharp rise in food prices, the price of a bag of flour has reached $600. Please help me so that I can feed my family.

Our current goal is 25k we now have only 22,6k .

I am now in my camp, the Beach Camp, but my family is still displaced. The road requires a 5-hour walk, and they cannot do that due to the children and the elderly. Therefore, I have set a goal to transfer them, and there is still $470 remaining from this goal. A small donation from you will help a displaced family return to their homeland.

Mohammed Ayesh's campaign is currently at £42,940 / £50,000. He is urgently trying to raise enough funds so that he can travel home and continue supporting his family. Despite the ceasefire, Mohammed Ayesh is still trapped in the north.

Please support Mohammed's campaign so that he can reach the short-term target of £44,500. We can reach this target by 5 February, in sha Allah (by God's will)!

Mohammed has done so much and supported so many vulnerable people. Every donation will get him one step closer to being able to travel home.

Please donate to his campaign and write posts to share his story.

samah @samah-2 and her family are still trying to raise enough to evacuate once rafah crossing reopens per the ceasefire deal! although they're incredibly grateful for the support they've received so far, they're still less than a quarter of the way to their goal for covering travel agency fees, the documents they need to obtain, and a few months' rent for when they get to egypt.

samah's campaign has been verified by @bilal-salah0 so please don't hesitate to share & donate. everything adds up 💜

It feels like shit to see the activity page fill up with notes but then checking in on the fundraisers and seeing that barely any donations are coming in. Siraj ( @siraj2024 ) wants to go home- that's all he has saying for days now. His whole life has been lost to this genocide: his home, his office, his neighborhood and so much more. He lost so many of his friends. His children lost more than a year of education and on top of that they will remember these fifteen months. That's not fair to anyone, least of all to children. The family suffered through hunger, through heat and cold and diseases. There truly is nothing more to be said about the grief that hangs so heavily whenever we talk. Nor do I want to say anything anymore, cause at this point it just feels voyeuristic. I just want to request on behalf of my friend. Please do what you will; Siraj needs €504 euroes ( i.e. he needs to reach €2500 ) to return home to North Gaza.

Siraj is still at €2001 / €2500 . Chuffed allows you to donate as low as €1 euro. Literally anything will help at this point.

Hey y'all, Mona posted an update for her mutual aid project on GoFundMe! Right now the priorities are winter clothing and food, please give whatever you can to this initiative!

Individuals fundraisers are still important but mutual aid funds such as these can help reach those who, for a variety of reasons, cannot get that help over the internet.

I know that there is nothing in your hands and you will not be able to stop this because the policies of countries do not express the will and aspirations of their people.thank you and Despite any challenges, we all share the hope that things can improve. 😔 Peace and love to you as well🙏🏻.

Many of the events that happened to me while you were standing by my side, including my sister’s injury, my family displacement several times , my family sleeping on the street without a place, my being cut off from the network for several days, the burning of my nephew’s son, starvation, and bearing the costs of food, water, and treatment.

After all this, I found people’s who care about my family and their attempts to push me forward and I continued to ask in the campaign until this day without getting tired or bored because of you, you are the ones who drew a smile on the face of every person in my family throughout the previous period Gofundme or paypal

now we are in the final level as we overcame the previous difficulties the situation is dire I hope you don't let me down and help my pregnant sister and evacuate my family to safe place🙏🏻

reminder that this is mohammed's new campaign page! the family has been verified here
