We recently returned from a 12 day private tour of Iceland, couldn't be any happier with Dora Rozet at Nordic Saga and with our guide (now friend), Kári Haraldsson. We travel a lot but have very rarely used a travel agent. This was going to be a more complicated trip, though, as my wife has difficulty walking and we really wanted something more in-depth than the big tour or cruise companies could offer. I researched a lot of travel agencies that specialize in Iceland and Scandanavia, had in-depth discussions with the four front runners. Nordic Saga was an excellent choice. After discussing what we wanted to see, date options and especially my wife's limitations, she put together the perfect itinerary. I don't think any tour could have given us a more in-depth and satisfying Iceland experience. I was thrilled with Nordic Saga's professionalism and reliability and with Dora's skill and responsiveness. We're especially thrilled to have been able to work with Kári, I can't imagine a better tour guide. His warmth and friendliness, his genuine drive to customize our experience to our liking, his flawless accommodation of my wife's limitations and his comprehensive knowledge of Iceland was far beyond anything that we expected. I would recommend Nordic Saga without reservation for anyone planning a northern European trip, and would give Kári my highest recommendation for anyone interested in a more personalized Iceland experience.

Dora planned a private tour to Scandinavia and the Baltics for my family. She did a fabulous job and we all loved our vacation! I would highly recommend Nordic Saga Tours!!
I have worked with Bobby for 2 vacations, one to Norway and another to Vietnam. I gave him parameters for our needs and he made several great offerings, we chose one and modified it as well, very helpful. He never failed to answer or return a call. He did a great job when our mistake made us miss a flight, rebooking, filing for refunds and getting us on our way. I would highly recommend his services.
We just got back from a tour of Scandinavia and Russia booked with Alex. We really enjoyed the services provided by Borealis Destination Management, most of all the tour leader, Mirjana. She handled our group efficiently and has a wonderful sense of humor. We learned a lot about Russia from Masha in St. Petersburg and Natasha in Moscow. The transportation arrangements went smoothly and we enjoyed the variety of types of travel. Our accommodations were very good. And best of all we were very fortunate to travel with interesting and pleasant people. Thank you Alex for putting together a wonderful trip.

What Dreams are Made of!
This trip is what dreams are made of! Legends of the Fjords was a spectacular journey! Everything was easy and fluid. Our guide, Trond, was outstanding! His zest for his country and history was inspiring. Our driver, Bjorn, was a true delight and absolutely magical, showing up where we needed him when we least expected it! We felt safe and cared for each and every moment of this tour. These two together made our trip most memorable, and we left Norway with two new, dear friends! As far as the sights we saw, they were all breathtaking. We felt like we were walking through a fantasy land. As the tour season was wrapping up, this was a perfect time of year to visit Norway; we felt like we had the country to ourselves. Peaceful, quiet, and serene. Just gorgeous! The accommodations were delightful and comfortable, the food was delicious and abundant. The scheduled afternoon off in Bergen was the perfect timing and perfect spot. We are already thinking about our next adventure to this place and will definitely be using Nordic Saga Tours again soon! Our planner, Dora was attentive and quick to reply to questions. Thank you, Dora! Well done to everyone who had a hand in making this adventure one for the books! ~Reagan LePage

Fabulous Scandinavia, Helsinki, and Tallinn!
Dora at Nordic Saga Tours helped us choose an amazing trip, Fabulous Scandinavia, Helsinki, and Tallinn! The trip was extremely well planned, and the execution was flawless. The detailed itinerary captures the highlights of each day, and we were happy we added the optional services. Surprisingly, the 15 days went by fast thanks to our tour director, Juan, who was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and had a great rapport with our whole crew. The activities were perfectly paced, and we were pleased that after a 2–3-hour walking city tour, we had plenty of time to explore on our own, shop and enjoy a relaxed dinner. The hotel rooms were great. This trip was wonderful, and a brief review does not do justice to the wonderful sights and culture of Scandinavia and Tallin (a beautiful medieval town)! We can’t thank Dora enough.

We had a wonderful time in Iceland
We had a wonderful time in Iceland. Turned out Nordic Saga had placed us in the hands of the oldest touring company in Iceland, GJ (for Gundar Johansson). We traveled in an 8 person van but there were only 4 of us. Our PERFECT guide was Antoine, a mountaineer and fluent in 5 languages, one retired English barrister, and us. The four of us set off on six magical days of adventure. "Guided Circle Tour" goes clockwise around Iceland, right to the northern, eastern and southern shores. In the south we added an exciting trip on a zodiac boat on a glacial lagoon.
Antoine changed our itinerary for one night and we saw a beautiful place on the east coast of the island that other tourists don't see.
Bill and I hope to go back and see the western fjords someday.
Thank you Bobby & Nordic Saga for your help.

I just returned from a 16 Scandinavian…
I just returned from a 16 Scandinavian trip which I booked through Nordic Saga. My agent Bobby from Nordic Saga planned my group trip and I want to commend him on a fantastic, incredible, and unbelievable job he did. It was my first time leading a group of 35 and during the planning stages, Bobby kept assuring me that I had nothing to worry about. He was correct. Everything went smoothly, the hotels were gorgeous and the restaurant’s breakfasts were delicious and impressive. The buses for excursions were first class and always prompt. Our tour guides were fabulous. Bobby went above and beyond with the difficult last-minute task of changing our flights to leave 2 days earlier due to Hurricane Dorian. His persistence and hard work in accomplishing this were greatly appreciated considering the fact that there were so few flights available due to the hurricane. He is to be complimented and praised for making this trip a wonderful experience and giving us so many beautiful memories. I highly recommend Bobby and Nordic Saga.

St. Petersburg Tour
Outstanding 3 day tour with Anastasia - amazing guide - one of the best - knowledgeable, caring, detailed oriented - thought of everything from the first moment to the last. Planned our entire time - booked tickets, reservations for dinner, boat ride. Made for a beautiful visit. I was worried about the hotel but it was great - highly recommend it - location and the extra large room/suite was perfect for 3 of us (traveling with adult son). Suzie was perfect to work with - delivered on everything and anytime I was worried she took care of it immediately whether from visa help or getting airport transfer. Alex was extremely helpful to us as we needed to change our visa application timeline due to family emergency - Alex handled everything flawlessly. Ausra was helpful in checking our applications - very thorough I would highly recommend EastWest and NordicSaga for anyone that would like to travel to St.Petersburg. I hope to use them again.

My wife and I are serious travelers
My wife and I are serious travelers. We've already been to all 7 continents, so it's getting more difficult to excite us with a simple trip.
We decided to visit the Arctic. We booked with Alex and his services were outstanding! The tour was not only an exciting adventure, but also quite informative, and the scenery was spectacular !
We easily give Alex and his services a 5 Star Rating!!

Tour through Scandinavia
My Family and I recently toured Sweden, Norway and Copenhagen on Nordic Saga’s “Legends of Scandinavia Tour”. We all had a great time and found the tour to be a wonderful mix of sights ranging from city exploration (historical sites, museums, parks, and restaurants) in Stockholm, Bergen, Oslo, and Copenhagen; and travel through the countryside and fiords of Norway via bus, tram, and ship! Our last leg of the trip took us overnight from Oslo to Copenhagen via a ferry that had comfortable cabins and a wide variety of entertainment.
Despite the short duration of the tour, we got to know our trip-mates and our tour guide, Maria, who is a true professional, helpful, knowledgeable, with the right mix of flexibility and firmness to keep the tour on track. I’ll also note that our hotels, meals, and the entire trip exceeded our expectations… such that we have recommended this trip and Nordic Saga to our friends.

Thanks, Susie!
Susie,
Our trip to Sweden was a complete success, thanks to your expert knowledge and scheduling! I was impressed greatly with your expertise with the train schedules, the hotel locations, the air itineraries, and how they interact. Every aspect went as planned, and we were able to sightsee quite a bit, connect with our relatives and visit the churches and graves of our ancestors.

St.Petersburg well covered in 3 days.
we joined the Visa Free Tours or Ferry passengers which took the route of HELSINKI - ST. PETERSBURG - TALLINN - STOCKHOLM.
we were greeted by the tour operator the moment we exit from the immigration. The 3 days arrangement were well spread out, we had enough time to visit each sights, our tour guide was knowledgeable and explains well and she managed the timing very well. The hotel we stayed in was Solo Sokos Hotel Vasilievsky, room was spacious, breakfast and service was good. We are so glad we joined this tour as we did not have to que to enter the palaces at Pushkin and Petergof.
The only set back was that on the first day the tour guide who received us was different from the one that led us on day 2 and 3.

Fantasic Tour of St Petersburg
We fully enjoyed our 3 day tour of St Petersburg. Having a local guide (Anna), provided a unique view of Russian life. She was the very best of guides, a wealth of information, and helped us to appreciate everything we saw. She went out of her way to provide some local colour (lunch at her favourite restaurants Katyusha and Tepemok ) and tips on buying souvenirs and cultural extras. Anna comes highly recommended. The only change I would request is that the schedule takes into account a light lunch around 12 or 1pm. Anna had to modify our schedule to provide this. Oh yes the boarding and off loading on the Princess Anastasia was terrible (took way too long and was disorganised). On the whole though a fantastic trip.

A magical trip.....
obby,
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you so very much for your planning for our trip. It was absolutely fantastic!!!!! The hotel, was wonderful (and you were right, of course, the walk from our hotel to the pick-up site was just a short walk). An unexpected surprise was their buffet dinner, which was welcomed after wonderful days out at Camp Tamok. Everyone we came into contact with, car driver for airport pick-up, hotel staff and most especially the wonderful people at the Camp helped to make this a very special trip. We did get to see the Northern Lights on our first night (on the boat where the captain and his staff were a wonderful introduction to the Norwegian people)!
Again, thank you so much.

Norway trip
We had a wonderful trip! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to make sure everyone was safe and having a good time. Our trip included the Dog Sledding, Snow mobiles and Reindeer sledding as well as chasing the Northern Lights. We had a great time on all of the trips. We especially enjoyed the Dog Sledding. The food was very tasty. We spent the night in a Chalet but we had snow over night and didn't get to see the Lights. Fantastic trip - I highly recommend it. Just one note: Buy removable cleats for your shoes/boots, it helps when walking around Tromso.
