Pamela Frances Audrey Chichele-Plowden was born on 17 April 1874.1,2 She was the daughter of Sir Trevor John Chichele Chichele-Plowden.3 She married Victor Alexander George Robert Bulwer-Lytton, 2nd Earl of Lytton, son of Edward Robert Bulwer-Lytton, 1st Earl of Lytton and Edith Villiers, on 3 April 1902.1 She died on 6 July 1971 at age 97.1
From 3 April 1902, her married name became Bulwer-Lytton. After her marriage, Pamela Frances Audrey Chichele-Plowden was styled as Countess of Lytton on 3 April 1902. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 She was awarded the Imperial Order of the Crown of India (C.I.)1

Sir Trevor John Chichele Chichele-Plowden was the son of Trevor John Chichele-Plowden. He married Hon. Beatrice Mary Teresa Fitzherbert, daughter of Basil Thomas Fitzherbert and Emily Charlotte Stafford-Jerningham, on 24 July 1895.1 He died on 5 November 1905.1
