Maj.-Gen. Archibald Campbell1

     Maj.-Gen. Archibald Campbell was born on 21 October 1774.1 He was the son of Sir James Campbell of Killean, 2nd of Inverneill and Jean Campbell.1 He died in 1838 at St. Heliers, Jersey, Channel Islands.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Jersey.1
