     Caroline Douglas Stewart was the daughter of Captain James Affleck Stewart.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Walter Orlando Corbet, 4th Bt., son of Sir Vincent Rowland Corbet, 3rd Bt. and Caroline Elizabeth Anne Agnes Bridgeman, on 25 July 1888.¹ She married, secondly, Reginald Basil Astley, son of Lt.-Col. Francis L'Estrange Astley and Rosalind Alicia Frankland, on 27 January 1913.¹ She died on 5 August 1921.¹
     From 25 July 1888, her married name became Corbet.¹ From 27 January 1913, her married name became Astley.¹

     Captain James Affleck Stewart gained the rank of Captain in the 11th Hussars.¹

     Mabel Gurney was born circa 1866 at Middleton, Norfolk, England.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Somerville Arthur Gurney and Katherine Sarah Hamond.^1,2 She married Sir William Michael Curtis, 4th Bt., son of William Edmund Curtis and Emily Ariana Master, on 14 April 1887.¹ She died on 26 April 1888.¹
     From 14 April 1887, her married name became Curtis.¹

     William Edmund Curtis was born on 26 October 1833.¹ He was the son of Sir William Curtis, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Maria Stratton.² He married Emily Ariana Master, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Chester Master, on 10 February 1859.¹ He died on 11 May 1860 at age 26.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Royal Dragoons.¹

     James Curtis married, firstly, Sarah Clowden.¹ He died in 1731.¹
