     Most Rev. Arthur Rose was born in 1634.1 He was the son of Reverend John Rose, 2nd of Insch and of Easter Clune and Jean Troup of Balnacraig.2 He married Barbara Barclay, daughter of Reverend Adam Barclay.1 He died on 13 June 1704.1
     He held the office of Bishop of Argyll in May 1675.1 He held the office of Bishop of Galloway in September 1679.1 He held the office of Archbishop of Glasgow in October 1679.1 He held the office of Archbishop of St. Andrews in December 1684.3 In 1689 he was deprived as a Jacobite.1

     Hugh Elphinstone, Master of Balmerinoch was the son of John Elphinstone, 4th Lord Balmerinoch and Lady Christiana Montgomerie.1 He died in 1708, killed in action, unmarried.1
     He was styled as Master of Balmerinoch between 1704 and 1708.1 He gained the rank of officer in the British Army.1 He fought in the Siege of Lille in 1708, which lasted three months under the Duke of Marlborough.1

     Edmund Charles Cradock-Hartopp was born on 29 September 1846.1 He was the son of Sir William Edmund Cradock-Hartopp, 3rd Bt. and Jane Mary Keane.2 He married Frances Emily Alston, daughter of William Charles Alston, on 29 December 1870.1 He died on 24 December 1904 at age 58.
     He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 7th Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps.1
