     Ralph Edgar Banbury was born on 2 January 1881.1 He was the son of George Banbury and Nina Beale.1 He married Cecil Phoebe Haig, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Balfour Haig, 28th of Bemersyde, on 26 April 1910.1 He died on 31 December 1957 at age 76.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Fusiliers.1

     Her married name became Talbot.
