     Richard John Hannay Meade was born on 4 December 1938 at Monmouthshire, Wales.2 He married Angela Dorothy Farquhar, daughter of Charles Richard Farquhar and Dorothy Nancy Johnson, in 1977.1 He died on 8 January 2015 at age 76.2
     He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England.2 He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He was Olympic Gold Medal in 1968, for equestrian team eventing.2 He was awarded the Olympic Gold Medal in 1972 for equestrian team eventing.2 He was awarded the Olympic Gold Medal in 1972 for equestrian individual eventing.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1974.1 He wrote the book Fit For Riding, published 1984.2 He lived at West Littleton, Wiltshire, EnglandG.3

     Reginald Arthur Farquhar was born on 7 September 1908.2 He was the son of Sir Walter Randolph FitzRoy Farquhar, 5th Bt. and Violet Maud Corkran.2 He married Betty Isobel Crawford, daughter of John Shields Crawford and Elizabeth Walker, on 6 February 1933.1 He died on 15 February 1937 at age 28.2
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 16th/5th Lancers.2 He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force.2
