     Rose Bridges was the daughter of John Bridges.2 She married Lt.-Gen. Richard Onslow, son of Foot Onslow and Susanna Anlaby, on 9 December 1726.2 She died on 8 February 1727/28, without issue.2

     Charles Hyde Home Purves was born in 1850 at Southsea, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Colonel John Home Purves and Caroline Maria Parker.3 He was baptised on 25 September 1850 at Minstead, Hampshire, England.1 He married Frances Mabel Archer, daughter of Captain Clement Robert Archer and Eliza Swetenham, on 26 June 1877.3 He died on 19 February 1887.3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berwickshire.2
