     Edward Boaz Eagar was born on 7 April 1860.1 He was the son of Colonel Edward Hungerford Eagar and Elizabeth Kelly.1 He married Ada Mary Barbara Thoyts in August 1889 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He died on 23 November 1899 at age 39 at Belmont, South Africa, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 5th Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1898.1 He fought in the Boer War.1

     Thomas Boothby Parkyns, 1st Baron Rancliffe was born on 24 July 1755.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Parkyns, 3rd Bt. and Jane Parkyns.1 He married Elizabeth Anne James, daughter of William James, 1st Bt. and Anne Goddard, on 24 December 1783.1,2 He died on 17 November 1800 at age 45.1
     He was created 1st Baron Rancliffe [Ireland] on 1 October 1795.1
