     Mary Anna Scott was the daughter of General Sir Hopton Stratford Scott and Mary Davie-Bassett.1 She died on 29 June 1845 at Woodville, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1

     Adelaide Harriet Scott is the daughter of General Sir Hopton Stratford Scott and Mary Davie-Bassett.1 She married Edward J. T. Montresor, son of Sir Henry Tucker Montresor, on 4 July 1850 at Lucan Church, Lucan, County Dublin, Ireland.1
     From 4 July 1850, her married name became Montresor.1

     Edward J. T. Montresor is the son of Sir Henry Tucker Montresor.1 He married Adelaide Harriet Scott, daughter of General Sir Hopton Stratford Scott and Mary Davie-Bassett, on 4 July 1850 at Lucan Church, Lucan, County Dublin, Ireland.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 55th Regiment.1

     Joseph Basset was born on 18 May 1764.2 He was the son of John Davie and Eleanora Basset.2 He married Mary Irwin, daughter of Christopher Irwin, in 1799.2 He died on 13 December 1846 at age 82.1
     He was given the name of Joseph Davie at birth.1 In 1803 his name was legally changed to Joseph Basset under the will of his uncle, Francis Basset.2 He lived at Umberleigh, Devon, England.2
