George John Patrick Dominic Townshend, 7th Marquess Townshend of Raynham1

     George John Patrick Dominic Townshend, 7th Marquess Townshend of Raynham was born on 13 May 1916.2 He was the son of John James Dudley Stuart Townshend, 6th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Gwladys Ethel Gwendolen Eugenie Sutherst.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Pamela Audrey Luby, daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Luby, on 2 September 1939.2 He and Elizabeth Pamela Audrey Luby were divorced in 1960.2 He married, secondly, Ann Frances Darlow, daughter of Arthur Pellew Darlow, on 22 December 1960.2 He married, thirdly, Philippa Sophia Montgomerie of Southannan, daughter of Colonel George Jardine Kidston-Montgomerie of Southannan and Lydia Cecilia Mason, in 2004.3 He died on 23 April 2010 at age 93.3
     He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Townshend, of Rainham, co. Norfolk [E., 1617] on 17 November 1921.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron Townshend of Lynn Regis, co. Norfolk [E., 1682] on 17 November 1921.1 He succeeded as the 7th Marquess Townshend of Raynham, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1787] on 17 November 1921.1 He succeeded as the 10th Viscount Townshend of Raynham, co. Norfolk [E., 1682] on 17 November 1921.1 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.2 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery (TA.)2 He was Aide-de-Camp to GOC Eastern Command between 1936 and 1939.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.2 He was PA to CIGS between 1939 and 1940.2 He was chairman of Raynham Farm Company Ltd in 1957.2 He was chairman of Anglia TV between 1958 and 1986.2 He was director of London Merchant Securities plc between 1964 and 1995.2 He was chairman of Anglia Television Group plc between 1971 and 1986.2 He was vice-chairman of Norwich Union Life Insurance Society between 1973 and 1986.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.)2

     Elizabeth Pamela Audrey Luby is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Luby.1 She married, firstly, George John Patrick Dominic Townshend, 7th Marquess Townshend of Raynham, son of John James Dudley Stuart Townshend, 6th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Gwladys Ethel Gwendolen Eugenie Sutherst, on 2 September 1939.1 She and George John Patrick Dominic Townshend, 7th Marquess Townshend of Raynham were divorced in 1960.1 She married, secondly, Brigadier Sir James Gault in 1960.1
     From 2 September 1939, her married name became Townshend. After her marriage, Elizabeth Pamela Audrey Luby was styled as Marchioness Townshend of Raynham on 2 September 1939. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk in 1950.1 From 1960, her married name became Gault.1

     Ann Frances Darlow was the daughter of Arthur Pellew Darlow.1 She married George John Patrick Dominic Townshend, 7th Marquess Townshend of Raynham, son of John James Dudley Stuart Townshend, 6th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Gwladys Ethel Gwendolen Eugenie Sutherst, on 22 December 1960.1 She died in 1988.1
     After her marriage, Ann Frances Darlow was styled as Marchioness Townshend of Raynham on 22 December 1960. From 22 December 1960, her married name became Townshend.

Robert Martin Dominic Ponsonby and Dorothy Edith Jane Lane, on 9 October 1975.1 He married, secondly, Alison Combs, daughter of Sir Willis Ide Combs, on 6 December 1990.2
     He was styled as Viscount Raynham between 1945 and 2010. He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He succeeded as the 11th Viscount Townshend of Raynham, co.
