     Franz Wilhelm Joseph Anton Fürst zu Salm-Reifferscheidt-Krautheim was born on 27 April 1772 at Bedburg, Germany.¹ He was the son of Siegmund Altgraf zu Salm-Reifferscheidt in Bedburg and Eleonore Gräfin von Waldburg zu Zeil und Wurzach.¹ He married Franziska Luise Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Bartenstein, daughter of Ludwig Leopold Franz Fürst zu Hohenlohe and Friederike Polyxena Benedikta Josepha philippine Antonia Gravin van Limburg Stirum, on 15 November 1796.¹ He married Marianne Prinzessin Galitzine, daughter of Prince Dmitri Alekseevich Galitzine, on 2 May 1818 at Münster, Germany.¹ He died on 14 May 1831 at age 59 at Konstanz, Germany.¹
     He was created Fürst zu Salm-Reifferscheidt-Krautheim in 1804.

     Ethel Hamilton was the daughter of Reverend Sewell Hamilton and Selina Robinson.² She married Robert Hamilton, son of William Hamilton and Henrietta Doyne.¹ She died in 1883.¹
