     Charles Cubitt was born circa 1916.2 He was the son of James Edward Cubitt.3 He married Gladys Rosemary Melville Wills, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Maitland Cecil Melville Wills and Gladys Amy Fothergill Hughes, on 5 September 1939.1 He died on 5 February 1941 at Libya, killed in action.4
     He lived at Camberley, Surrey, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Carabineers, attached to King's Dragoon Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

Maitland Cecil Melville Wills and Gladys Amy Fothergill Hughes.2 She married, firstly, Charles Larking, son of Captain Dennis Larking, on 3 September 1939.1 She and Charles Larking were divorced in 1946.1 She married, secondly, Samuel Morrell, son of Samuel Barant Morrell, on 5 March 1947.1
     From 3 September 1939, her married name became Larking. From 5 March 1947, her married name became Morrell.1

     From 5 January 1939, her married name became Rétout. From 11 September 1945, her married name became Kerr-Peterson.1
