     Gladys Amy Fothergill Hughes was the daughter of Reginald Hughes.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Maitland Cecil Melville Wills, son of Walter Melville Wills and Louisa Gertrude Wilson, on 5 May 1915.1 She died on 12 June 1964.1
     From 5 May 1915, her married name became Wills.

     Brigadier Hugh Marlborough Hale Ley was born in 1911.2 He was the son of Colonel Arthur Edwin Hale Ley. He married Aimée Hyancinth Melville Wills, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Maitland Cecil Melville Wills and Gladys Amy Fothergill Hughes, on 14 February 1936.1 He and Aimée Hyancinth Melville Wills were divorced in 1961.1 He died on 19 February 2004.2
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the 3rd Carabineers.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1
