     Dr. John Wedgwood was born on 28 September 1919.1 He was the son of Hon. Josiah Wedgwood and Dorothy Mary Winser.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Mason, daughter of Alfred Sidell Mason, on 17 June 1943.1 He and Margaret Mason were divorced in 1971.1 He married, secondly, Jo Alice Tamlyn Ripsher, daughter of Harold Swan Ripsher, on 20 May 1972.1 He died on 30 August 2007 at age 87.3
     He was educated at Abbotsholme School, Rocester, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, England.1 He was Surgn-Lt Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve , consultant physician in 1944.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1948 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1954 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.)1 He lived in 2003 at 156 Ashley Gardens, Thirleby Road, London, England.1

     Margaret Mason is the daughter of Alfred Sidell Mason.2 She married Dr. John Wedgwood, son of Hon. Josiah Wedgwood and Dorothy Mary Winser, on 17 June 1943.1 She and Dr. John Wedgwood were divorced in 1971.1
     From 17 June 1943, her married name became Wedgwood.
