     Lucy Margaret Cobb was the daughter of Henry Cobb.2 She married Walter Samuel Cohen, son of Lionel Louis Cohen and Esther Moses, in 1903.1 She died in 1942.1
     From 1903, her married name became Cohen.

     Sir Andrew Benjamin Cohen was born on 7 October 1909.1 He was the son of Walter Samuel Cohen and Lucy Margaret Cobb.2 He married Helen Phoebe Stevenson, daughter of G. G. Stevenson, on 24 April 1949.1 He died on 17 June 1968 at age 58.1
     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He held the office of Assistant Under-Secretary, Colonial Office between 1947 and 1951.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1952.1 He held the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Uganda between 1952 and 1957.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1954.1 He held the office of Permanent UK Representative to the U.N. Trusteeship Council between 1957 and 1961.1 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.) in 1960.1 He was Director-General of the Department of Technical Co-operation between 1961 and 1964.1 He was Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Overseas Development between 1964 and 1968.1

     Helen Phoebe Stevenson is the daughter of G. G. Stevenson.1 She married, firstly, Professor Robert Donnington before 1949.1 She married, secondly, Sir Andrew Benjamin Cohen, son of Walter Samuel Cohen and Lucy Margaret Cobb, on 24 April 1949.1 She married, thirdly, Michael Hope on 29 May 1969.1
     From before 1949, her married name became Donnington.1 From 24 April 1949, her married name became Cohen. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County of London in 1962.1 From 29 May 1969, her married name became Hope.1 She was appointed Companion, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)1
