Sir George Rawlinson Vyvyan1

     Sir George Rawlinson Vyvyan was born on 10 September 1838.1 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Hutton Vyvyan and Mary Williams Grenfell.2 He married Blanche Henrietta Gray, daughter of Most Reverend Robert Gray, on 17 May 1873.1 He died on 22 October 1914 at age 76, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy Reserve.1 He held the office of Elder Brother, Trinity House in 1883.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.1 He held the office of Deputy Master, Trinity House between 1898 and 1910.1 He was Captain of the Merchant Service.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)1
