     Margaret May Laurie was born on 13 January 1908.1 She was the daughter of Cecil Emilius Laurie and Helen Janet Douglas-Campbell.2 She married Lt.-Col. Sir Reginald Douglas Henry Houldsworth, 4th Bt., son of Colonel Sir William Thomas Reginald Houldsworth, 3rd Bt. and Ethel Mary Alberta Whitmore, on 30 April 1934.1 She died on 1 August 1995 at age 87.1
     Margaret May Laurie also went by the nick-name of Meg.1 Her married name became Houldsworth.

Sir John Robert Laurie Emilius Laurie of Maxwelton, 3rd Bt. and Marianne Sophia Rice.2 He married Helen Janet Douglas-Campbell, daughter of Robert Douglas-Campbell and Catherine Ellen Miller, on 23 October 1900.1 He died on 30 January 1919 at age 57.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dumfries-shire.1 He lived at Jarbruck, Moniaive, Dumfries-shire, ScotlandG.

     Helen Janet Douglas-Campbell was the daughter of Robert Douglas-Campbell and Catherine Ellen Miller.2,3 She married Cecil Emilius Laurie, son of Rev. Sir John Robert Laurie Emilius Laurie of Maxwelton, 3rd Bt. and Marianne Sophia Rice, on 23 October 1900.1 She died on 1 April 1919.1
     From 23 October 1900, her married name became Laurie.

     Rev. Sir John Robert Laurie Emilius Laurie of Maxwelton, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 May 1823.1 He was the son of Sir John Edward George Bayley, 2nd Bt. and Charlotte Mary Fector.2 He married Marianne Sophia Rice, daughter of Edward Royds Rice and Elizabeth Knight, on 1 February 1855.1 He died on 4 December 1917 at age 94.1
     He was given the name of John Robert Laurie Emilius Bayley at birth.1 Rev. Sir John Robert Laurie Emilius Laurie of Maxwelton, 3rd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Emilius.2 He graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)1 He was Vicar between 1843 and 1856 at Woburn, Bedfordshire, England.1 He was Vicar between 1856 and 1867 at St. George's, Bloomsbury, London, England.1 He was Vicar between 1867 and 1888 at St. John's, Paddington, London, England.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bayley, of Bedford Square, Middlesex [U.K., 1834] on 23 December 1871. On 26 February 1887 his name was legally changed to John Robert Laurie Emilius Laurie of Maxwelton by Royal Licence, on inheriting Maxwelton.1

     Marianne Sophia Rice was born on 23 February 1826.2 She was the daughter of Edward Royds Rice and Elizabeth Knight.1,3 She married Rev. Sir John Robert Laurie Emilius Laurie of Maxwelton, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Edward George Bayley, 2nd Bt. and Charlotte Mary Fector, on 1 February 1855.1 She died on 22 June 1903 at age 77.1
     Her married name became Bayley. From 26 February 1887, her married name became Laurie.1

     Lieutenant Graham Montague Balfour was born on 31 December 1838.2 He was the son of Francis Balfour and Margaret Bower.1 He married Emily Charlotte Neild on 20 November 1863 at Quilon, Madras, IndiaG.2 He died on 15 July 1870 at age 31.1,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Madras Army.1

Sir Reginald Douglas Henry Houldsworth, 4th Bt. and Margaret May Laurie.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Jane Orr, daughter of George Alistair Orr and Doreen Elizabeth Cole, on 12 September 1970.1 He and Elizabeth Jane Orr were divorced in 1982.1 He married, secondly, Ann Catherine Tremayne, daughter of Jean Jacques Tremayne, on 2 May 1992.1 He died on 14 September 2023 at age 76.2
     He was educated at Bredon School, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was educated at Blanerne School, Denholme, Yorkshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Houldsworth, of Reddish, co, Lancaster and Coodham, Symington, Ayrshire [U.K., 1887] on 19 January 1989.1
