     Hester Watt was born on 22 May 1856.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Watt and Jane Newman.1 She married Hume Babington, son of Reverend Hume Babington and Esther Nettles, on 3 October 1873.2 She died on 27 October 1930 at age 74.1
     From 3 October 1873, her married name became Babington.1
