     Harriot Stone is the daughter of Richard Buckley Stone and Elizabeth Margaret Filder.1 She married Daniel Riddiford, son of Daniel Riddiford and Harriett Strother Balmforth, on 18 January 1839 at Holy Trinity, Brompton, London, England.1
     From 18 January 1839, her married name became Riddiford.1 She and Daniel Riddiford emigrated to Wellington, New Zealand, arriving on 1840 on board the Adelaide.1
